so where or who do i ask to buy a state Raven. i've only heard of them and seen the specs .....
where are they
how many are left
if i bought one how much would that person want for it?
how many gtc (60 as it is now the only one that i can get to sell for isk) would i have to sell?
i know i'm new but i kinda want this ship. to mission run with i think it would be soo cool to have a rare ship to kill stuff with, as long as i don't loose it. im seriously looking into a 6 bil setup for it.
i hope i found the right thread for this.

Entity's list of items has all the current owners listed, I believe.
Oh, and be prepared to pay trillions.

Is this a troll thread? Heh.
Seriously, if you're new, you won't have the skills to fly the ship properly and you are better off wait a bit.
And yes, the ship will cost you billions.

why would they want to kill the ship anyways..... what would the point be to kill a nice ship like that.

Because you can!
People don't need more reason than that.
To be the only person, or at most one of a half-dozen people to have killed a State Raven would ensure that they have far more then enough reason to kill you.

From Entity's list of unique ships:
Raven State Issue #Original ownerLast known ownerLast known status 1 Band of Brothers TWD Active 2 Band of Brothers Band of Brothers Active 3 Band of Brothers Rawthorm Active 4 Band of Brothers Entity Active
From Entity's blog:
Originally by: Entity Thursday, 08 February, 2007 Beyond Insanity...
2 days ago I acquired the formidable Corvus and Storm battleships from Band of Brothers, who had won them in the Alliance Tournament. The ships have since been renamed by CCP and are now called Raven State Issue and Tempest Tribal issue (arguably more appropriate names). The only real problem with those pretty things was the pricetag. I did manage to talk the price down a bit, but it still taxed my resources to say the least.
Another problem is that the Powers that Be decided to give these ships a Level 5 skill requirement. Now, due to the somewhat godlike nature of these ships that doesn't come as a total surprise, but the thing is, I DON'T HAVE THOSE SKILLS!
*starts training...*
In (totally unrelated, honest!) other news: Band of Brothers managed to raise enough funds to finance at least 2 more Titan class vessels. Rumour has it they are adding a Leviathan BPO to their portfolio to complete their set. How they managed to raise this much ISK in such short time remains a mystery.
So not a trillion, but he's implying that the price tag for the pair was over 100B, perhaps even as much as 200B(depending on whether he means a BPO *and* two Titans, or just one of those) ------------------ Fix the forums! |

The problem is, they are worth much, much more now, only if because entity took one of each out of the cycle, because, you know, once he gets it.

The only publically acknowledged sale so far was for 80,000,000,000.00 ISK.

Unless you're stupidly rich, much, much more than you can possibly hope to afford.
By the way I MIGHT be convinced to look for a cheaper one for you, for a modest up-front negotiator's fee of, say 2 bil ISK. Non-negotiable and non-refundable. Offer only valid for the next 24 hours, send ISK before time elapses or I won't even bother helping.

I bet a lot of people would love to own a State Issue Raven or Tribal Tempest. It is not against the rules to create a thread asking about a certain rare item or ship.

That is an OLD, and I mean OLD UI, the way EVE look at the beginning of times, I hated that warp button, blech... and that stupid wimble radar thingy, well, that was useless as the **** on a bull, and laggy to boot whenever a ship actually showed up on it - and you are witnessing a snippet of what was a unique kill indeed - an Imperial Issue Apocalypse.
Edit:

Perhaps not, but asking about one of the rarest ships in the game so that you can sell enough GTCs to buy one sure seems like an obvious troll is obvious thread.
After all, anyone that has done the research to know that a state issue raven is extraordinarily rare and valuable, especially someone that knows how to sell GTCs for isk... this OP should also know that missioning in that ship is suicidal and a colossal waste of money.

As for wanting to kill it... sure, the killmail might look nice - but you realize you can like ransom the ship for multiple billions right?
I'd say any owner getting caught it if would easily pay some 10B+ to keep it, so it's down to how much that killmail is worth for the evil ones.

Dunno - I'm not much of a collector kinda guy, but I would probably rather spend 100 billion ISK from a CSR to buy something along the lines of, dunno, a fleet of 150 faction fitted PvP spec CNR's and go crazy for a few months, or year.
Just me, but seems like that would be far more glorious and worth it than having a CSR that I will never take out of station for the rest of my natural life. ____________________
