I dont see how making some on pay Your insurance would work, considering 1, you already paid for you insurance before you died. and 2) if i have to pay for some ones insurance, i will transfer all my cash before i suicide gank, and therefore you cannot take what i dont have, so that system is flawed.
Get out of your Noob corps and join a player corp, i cannot reiterate this enough. They dont even need to attack the suiciders, all they have to do is remote rep you long enough for concord to finish the job. It is damn hard to kill a freighter if u have 4 or 5 ospreys or what have you, repping the freighter.
I'm all for removing the insurance pay out to people who get concorded, however this does have the issue of people who accidentally losing their ships getting ****ed, I for one would hate to have my BS insurance nullified because i accidentally shot a piece of space debris. This however could be fixed, by adding different flagging states for when you attack a player, or when you attack space junk/containers.
Maybe the simplest solution would be to have concord sitting on the gates already so that way, they do not have to warp in to protect you.
Nullifing suicide ganking is a horrible idea. Yes it shouldnt be so easy and so profitable, but destroying it is a horrible idea. In fact suicide ganking is very very important to the Eve Economy, as it creates a great deal of loss in the game, and that offsets inflation. IE, even though your freighter or hauler might have 3 bil of shit in it, a good chunk will be destroyed, and sometimes it the most valuable things that get blown away.
Also its been said a billion times, Concord does not provide security, they provide consequences.
If you want security join a player corp, i cannot stress this enough. the faceless pubies in your NPC corp do not care about your freighter that is getting ganked on the gate, however if your in a real corp, and you work with your corp mates, you will have little problems. There is no replacement for preperation
