Okay, so what was the last expansion that actually added new skills? Revelations? Rev2? Empyrean Age?
Also, is there a current, up-to-date, graphical skill tree available? There used to be a great one that was all one sheet (large) rather than the only one I can find now that is broken down into 8.5x11 inch pages. meh! Can anyone help? Thanks!

Rev added Contracting and Salvaging at the very least, probably some more as well(that's right around when I started, so I can't tell you much more than that). Rev 2 added Capital Industrial Ships and Thermodynamics. Trinity added EAS, HIC, Marauders, BO, and JF ship skills. And I don't think Empyrean added any. I'm probably forgetting a couple, but those are definitely there.
As for graphical skill trees, the best I can do is suggest the skill browser in EveMon. I've never seen anyone even attempt it anywhere else. It sounds like an interesting project, though - my MS Paint skills are mediocre, but I'll see about giving it a shot if I have some time to kill. ------------------ Fix the forums! |

I don't think MS Paint will cut it. The ones of old were PDF versions of large Visio diagrams that linked all of the requirements to start a new skill block and such. It was pretty impressive even back then... I can only imagine it'd be insane now. Still, it COULD be done! Does anyone still have the old one? Not the 8.5x11 page one, but the large, full PDF?

Whatever - it's a working model, someone whose graphical skills are better than a 5th grader's can take it over from there. For complex trees, sometimes half the problem is just finding the best organization for the data, and that requires no polish at all. Besides, I'm a sick enough bastard I'd probably find it fun. ------------------ Fix the forums! |

The only way to do it reliably is to write software which auto-generates it from the data.

I wonder what the cost is to print that chart out...
