Yeah, keep's patching the patcher that patches the game. Only CCP can create something like this and call it progress.

Every launcher for every game updates the launcher. Its not just CCP.
Considering its brand new launcher, its to be expected. You whine about Launcher bugs and then you Whine when they fix the bugs.

There is a difference between a "whine" and disbelief/disgust.
There was no reason for a Launcher. The old way of patching was worked just fine.
I kept quiet when they forced the CQ on us, but when are they going to learn not to force changes.
I've been playing since Beta, and I can see a huge difference in the past year or two in how CCP handles things.
Was hoping they would have learned from the past. |

If you thing the launcher provides no benefits then you evidently haven't read the dev blogs regarding it.
And btw some of the features that are in it now you can thank those us that gave them feedback when they put the launcher on SiSi in November. For instance, being able to download once and export for offline installs.
The more recent dev blogs also mentioned that "this is only the beginning, launcher is going to only get better from here on in" kind of thing. Hopefully they take to heart some of the stuff we've been talking about like the multi client support and such :P
