Why did you change the default answer for the concord message ?
This game is getting more and more newbie friendly. |

Maybe that's how you increase the subscriber base ... sounds like a good business decision To the whiners :-áCCP Soundwave "Incursions are not a big issue in terms of isk globally" CCP Recurve "However, Incursions are not the biggest ISK faucet, bounties are"

Turn it off? I mean if your not a newbie by the sarcasm then I would guess you understand the game mechanics surrounding criminal choices and as such the check wouldn't be relevant to you?
Or did you just need something to complain about today to validate your epeen as part of a supposed elite set? Bounty Hunting for CSM 7

1000 apologies, yes I was. Had to go and check.
I remember reading about it in another thread but I might have confused it with another issue.
I guess that can be annoying then if used to a keypress repsonce to the popup box.
Whats the main argument against making it a popup box that you can turn off and configure like other checks? Just thinking there isnt really much to be gained timewise and wouldn't see it as a great advantage to activities. As an advocate of funsics I can rightly see that being an annoyance to the criminal element. Maybe as a compromise the checkbox could be clever enough to check the first time a criminal action is made and then whilst the player is criminally flagged it would assume no need to the worry about the acceptance of subsequent further criminal behaviour? It's not like you guys log in and play the game anyway.

That used to be possible at least last year. When was this changed?

When they become lazy they don't count.
When they become childish they don't count.
If you are looking for a medal you should do sport or join army instead of playing internet spaceship pixels games.
Now what, you want a bone too?

The confusion comes because the Concord Pop up ......has a checkbox, IN LOW SEC.
In high sec there is no option to turn it off, and never was, at least not in the last 5 years.
Probably is that way because some carebears would turn it off, misclick and then cry when they get killed because of a buggy overview.
Still think it should be an option though.
However, formerly you could clear the pop up window with a single keystroke. Clearing the window quickly is vital when suicide multiple targets simultaneously. Requiring a Tab-Enter response for each attack (aside from the fact that clearing GCC warnings when you are ALREADY GCC is completely nonsensical) - slows you down and prevents you from killing all your targets.
I theorize that most outlaws are dealing with it by simply binding a key or button to perform 'Tab-Enter' with a single keypress.
Still, the change must have been intentional, and I can't imagine any motivation other than tripping up gankers with a clunky interface.
Here's an idea for the anti-ganking division at CCP:
Why not just require a Captcha? That would REALLY make it hard and slow to gank in highsec, and also prevent botters and macroers from accidentally getting Concorded, too, as a bonus. You could both protect the botters and deter suicide ganking in a single stroke!

Just wanted to say that if you click in space after the concord window is displayed, and press TAB, it will just hide all your windows, so basically if you gank with multiple shooters you have to use your mouse to click YES, instead of just pushing ENTER like before. This increases a lot the chances of the target to survive. |

I just keep not trying it once i need it. *lol*
