Edited by: Erxi on 18/07/2008 22:38:15 Hi all, just reactivated with the free 14-days offer. Haven't played eve much but a little bit a while ago.
I log on, and find the text in the in-game windows really hard to read. The font size is too small, the font itself is hard to read, contrast is too low or a combination of these factors. I have to really focus with my eyes to see what's written.
Can I change the font or font size?
I play on a 1280x1024 LCD monitor. I tried switching to 1024x768 but then things get blurry and i lose screen space so that didn't help. I'm not buying new glasses to play eve since the ones I have now works very well for everything else.

Well the Chat chanals can be changed in the top right, with the buttons [a-] [A+] which will adjust the size of the text for you.
There are also options for the font size of the right click menus, and the font width which you can find by hitting escape and going to the General Settings tab.
I've not found an option for changing the size of text in other areas.

Long-time players know that Eve's development is a history of making the font more and more illegible.

Once upon a time it was possible to tell O from 0 in game. I'm not joking.. it really was.
