Hey CCP. EVE is a great game,the only drawback is the Pirates that have been around for too long, just podding people. I started my account back-up with the 14 day free trial to check out the updates. Great I really like whats happening, but a lot and I mean a lot of my friends do not play anymore becuase of the Pirating going on. If you are not flagged PvP (NonCombat), you should not be attacked.
The flag could turn on automaticly if you started mining in a system that is below 0.5, in a war with another corp, or a number of other ways, but just for a new person (or even an old player trying to move his ships) to travel between systems to get podded.. Just bad business.
I've tried to get a good number of other people playing EVE but they all say the same thing, jump gate sitting. It's very cowardly and I believe a lot of the so called 'Pirates' are really just people from other games, trying to scare off players from EVE or SK farmers trying to make some money to sell illegally.
I had 3 accounts at one time, but after my corp with over 300 players started dropping and just stopped playing because of jump gate sitting and other reasons (mainly pirates), I stopped also.
Please do something about these people and put in a Combat/Non-Combat flagging system. They are just as bad as the gold farmers and hurt CCP revenue just as bad. I'm sure you have heard this before, with all the other post about the same subject matter, and if you notice it's the same players responding.
Please let EvE grow into the game that is can be, stop the SK Farmers (Pirates) and stop the people who keep the new players (and some old ones) from playing, make them get out there and play instead of preying on new characters.
Again EVE is a great game, but the Pirates need some control, even the Bounty Sytem does work. I know I'll get some responses about care bare and wining, but again its from the people who prey to make money and stop EVE from growing. lets have war, fight for the right to claim territory and bring in new people to make the equipment and the ships needed for combat not for people to just sit at a gate and wait for new players 
Let's see the responses and see if the majority of EVE players agree with me or not.
