I'm wondering if I can get an opinion on this.
In recent experience (since factional warfare started), I have done a couple of storylines. I asked my corpmate to join me figuring we can both get some faction standing and help our corp. It was a multiparter so I figured it wouldn't give the overall until the end. We came to the end and he got no standing increase with anyone whatsoever. Not the corp giving the mission, nor faction increase; and we checked numbers before, during, and after. This has happened twice now.
So my question is this: Do storyline missions now only give faction increase to the owner of the mission? Then if so, why? Also, of that is the case, that then means that each individual needs to run their own 16 mission set to get their own storyline? That makes increasing corp standing extremely slow.
Has anyone experienced this? Should I/we try other storyline missions to see if it happens again? These weren't level 1 missions, they were level 3. Thoughts please. Thank you.

If storylines shared, there wouldn't be a point to running missions. Just gang with your friend and get massive standings without doing anything. It just ain't that easy.

also found this problam recently, my advice is to find a good lvl 4 agent and group grind missions with them for a while. After a while you will have enough standing with that agent to be able to do missions for them, from that point they can work their way up. Did this with my alt recently, it still took a long time to earn up enough standing.

As far as I know, Storylines have NEVER given faction standing since the "I did the mission with my gang/fleet" was released.
Like others have said, the way you do it, is have every member of your fleet grab a mission from the agent. Then just do them all, and and have everyone go back and share the missions with each other for corp standing, isk, etc.
Once everyone's hit the 16 missions, everyone will get a storyline. According to the way I calculate it out in my head, that should take the same amount of time to get the same standings.

Doesn't this equate to: Accept mission, let your mate finnish them, recieve twice the bacon?
After all, you can still build corp and personal standing the way you mention. Parrots, commence!

In regular missions the LP and isk are split even amongst the players, and I assume that standing is the same way. Storyline missions used to be the same way too. I have tagged along on a corpmate's storyline and he on mine and we both got standing from the missions, until the latest update.
The problem is that we have some members who are newer to missions, newer to the corp and we're trying to get our player corp faction standing higher, which we need everyone doing storylines in order to have happen. Some of these members don't have high standings yet, so we're bringing them along on whatever missions we get. Only now it sucks for them if they help us on a storyline since they get nothing in the end except a couple of thousand isk. No NPC corp standing from it, and definitely no faction standing.
Not asking someone to do the mission for me. I'm plenty capable of doing them myself. I was just trying to help another corpmate get faction standing as well.

Storylines on give standing to the person who was given the missions.
Corp Standing is the only thing ever shared.
Faction standing is never shared.
Isk and LP is shared. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

Is has always been this way.
Originally by: Marin Kjelthorne Then if so, why?
The simple reason was stated some time ago .. if it would share faction standing, then ppl that went below the -5 faction mark with any of the 3 mayor factions, or minmatar, would be able to get back being liked by that faction and to quote from memory "ccp isn't sure whether that should be an option at all".

Well yes, obviously.
Originally by: Marin Kjelthorne That makes increasing corp standing extremely slow.
How so? Wouldn't matter at all if 1 person gets 1000 faction points or 10 people get 100 each. The corp standing to the faction does not increase slower or faster that way.
