I have just bought an abaddon and am using it for PVE at the moment but am looking into using it for PVP aswell. What rigs would people recommend for it as to not gimp either PVP or PVE. I was thinking CCC and 2 Aux Nano Pumps.

The only really viable abaddon for pvp, or at least certainly the best, it the plated buffer one with MPL II, which means 2-3 1600mm RT plates + 3 trimarks. However, trimarks don't rly serve an awesome purpose in PVE so I'm not rly seeing the point in trying to combine.
Either way you go, you'll end up with a sub-par PVE and PVP version of the abaddon.
Pick one.

Why would you want to use your pve ship for pvp?

If you cant afford 2 abaddons for PVP and PVE then you should not be flying it in PVP. ---------------------------------

A 3x CCC rigged Abbadon would okay-ish for PvP, though not optimal by any means.
A 3x Trimarked Abbadon is crap for PvE.
You don't want a ship that does it all with one fitting, fit it the best you can according to the situation you need it for. __________________________________________________

This. Seriously, really don't. By all means pimp your PvE ride up, but if you can't afford a PvE BS and a PvP BS, then you can't afford a PvP BS at all.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

EHP Setups work best in gang fights with remote reppage.
So you need decent resists,
For gangs i would use
Highs
X8 Megapulse II
Mids
X1 Sensor Booster II X1 ECCM II X1 Cap Booster II X1 Tracking Distruptor II
Lows
X2 EAM II X1 Damage Control II X2 1600mm Rolled Tungsten Plates X2 Heatsink II
(drop to 1 heatsink n extra plate if your playing bait)
Rigs
X3 Tri-Mark Armour Pumps
Drones
ECM Drones/Lights/Meds or whatever

Best advice: never fly your moneymaking ship into PvP.
But if you must fly an Abaddon, focus on getting its armor HP (and thus effective, staying-alive-whilst-shooting-when-theres-still-cap HP) as high as possible whilst maintaining DPS output.
If you doubt the Abaddon's PvP capability, go down to the Videos section of this forum and look at Cown's videos. -
