I can't find anything remotely satisfactory on a missioning setup for this ship, save for an old PvP setup. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, please don't tell me to just "Go get a Raven"...I'm aware that this ship is consistently overlooked in favour of its more ubiquitous brother but I'd really like to find a viable use for this underdog :D

You're bypassing a wordfilter, dunno if thats a good idea. 
Anyway, go get a raven, you won't find anything remotely satisfying anyway..

Permrun, with a passive tank you run into cap problems for just the hardeners even. And this one got a BCU, oh yeah! Swap Invuls with specific one's depending on mission. Good tank, thats about it.

Try to passive tank it. You know the deal. 
I've always wanted to try it, but I laugh a little every time I hover the mouse over the buy button.

To be completely honest it IS possible to make the scorpion into a PVE boat - you'll just be dissapointed in the results. With my skills I actually achieve better Kin damage with a Drake than I can on a Scorp, but thanks to the lack of a damage bonus you'll find you actually have a flexible damage dealing capacity. Being able to carry bigger drones tips the DPS slightly in favor of the Scorpion but the Drake still wins on Tank. In my early 0.0 days I used an active tanked scorpion for ratting because they were available (oddly enough I couldn't get my hands on rokh's, drakes or Ravens at the time).
