I just received my first copy of E-on (Issue #12) and I'm more than impressed with the execution and content. I would so love to have a copy of all of the back issues, but boy would that cost me a pretty penny. The big kicker is the $4 shipping fee to get them to the USA. Why can't more than one issue be ordered at a time and shipped together to save on shipping cost?
Is there a plan to sell sets of the magazine? Like a set of all back issues for a reduced price?
Are there any pilots out there with a full set of well cared for E-on mags that are interested in selling them?

IIRC you can buy a "subscription" of four back issues (that's how EVE-store refers to it). Get a bunch of them up to your current issue, should be cheaper.

The latest issue was also my first and I would really enjoy catching up without shelling out the full cost.

Either that, or use the same deal that Game Developer magazine does to deliver their eIssues...I love their format, I think it's called Texterity.

It looks to me that when you order a sub, you get 3 future issues plus one other issue that you can select. So it would only help me get that one back issue.

Oh, and while we're on topic, can I add this: CCP, please do not ever toy with the idea of going cheaper on the mag! The paper stock and ink you use is exquisite and makes the $18/issue price all worth it (of course, that assumes great content too!). I love that I can read it over and over and never see thumb-smeared pages, or get ink on my fingers.

no, you can just select the issue you want to start with and then get the next 3 in sequence - i bought the first six and then stopped (was only half-playing EVE at the time) so when i came back with renewed vigor to the game i ordered a sub starting with issue 7 (and got 8-10 at the same time which made for MANY happy hours in the toilet reading  ) and then i ordered another sub with #11 so am covered till the end of this year.
i totally agree about the shipping costs, however - when i renewed that sub i also bought the tactical maps and actually paused for thought as to whether or not i was willing to pay ALL of that shipping, as there's no cart (so it's multiple orders each time) and i find the shipping to be a little annoying :P
love E-On, however. it's expensive but i agree with your last comment, it's worth EVERY penny and it's of such nice, high quality that it would be criminal to ever cheapen the production costs.

So, CCP, any chance you're going to modify the story to allow orders of multiple copies at once so that we can save on the high shipping costs?
