Create self-replicating, fully programmable nanobots with a benevolent AI hivemind OS, with the computational power of realizing technological singularity.
This way I'd be of god-status indefinitely, at least compared to all actual non-gods.

Hear hear. I would make it my mission to go to every extremist who yells/says/thinks GOD WANTS (Gay people to die, Christianity to be state religion, the infidels to burn, etc). Tbh I'd probably end up being really self centered and basically do it bruce all mighty style, ie. make my life as perfect as possible and just blanket over everyone else. Oh and I'd have a bit of a laugh with all the parting of the water type stuff.

First, I'm god omnipotenz and omnicience, I'm everywhere and nowhere and more importantly everywhen and nowhen(I love raping a language^^). So yeah I don't need to prolong the day merely my perception of time. Bam eternity of my rule. Anyways that' boring so I won't.
What I will do is introduce magic to the world, and by that I mean any form that is currently present in any form of literatur and that wouldn't allow world wide destruction. Afterwards I would equip myself with a nice amount of power and other usefull stuff and relinquis control back to god. Maybe make her promise to leave it like that until die.

I would leave the world the way it is, but go back in time and opposite the evolutionary gene that led to humans having knees that bend backwards and elbows that bend inwards.
Then I'd come back and laugh at quite a lot of things.

I guess it would just be nice to sit back and relax with a day off work... Finally.
I think I would put all bosses in a benevolent mood forever and make them give a massive pay rise to all their employees out of their own pockets. I would make all the fat cats and politicians feel ultra guilty about their over inflated wages and get them to take a pay cut that brings them all to the level of a low wage earner. I would also get politicians to feel guilty about such high taxes and make cuts in areas like gov't expenses that don't need so much so they can reduce taxes to a reasonable level.
Then I would hand the power back and enjoy a world where I could actually earn a liveable wage without having to kill myself doing 2 billion hours a week just to make ends meet.
