Hi,
I am stuck in jita's star gate ... i tryed to log off and log on and i can't log on it says entering game as Spc One and nothing happens .. i've been waiting 15 minutes.
Any suggestions ?!?

Petition it. Use the stuck Char. petition, they normally get answered quickly and you get moved a system over.

Yah, Jita's the usual place most pilots get stuck at. 
Biggest trade-system in the cluster. Keep clear of it during primetime, unless you've got a lot of time to kill.  |

Did petition it and solved it.
I think jita and surrounding systems lag way too much.

yeah, jitas not the place to be on a weekend. if you want to get stuff from the market but are not too heavily dependant on price, try oursulart or amarr, or even (shudder) rens....

Only go to Jita during quiet times and if absolutely necessary. Weekends are bad news.

Jita's already on its own node, so the number of lag in Jita won't 'spill over' to surrounding systems. Of course, thos systems will be pretty busy anyway (especially Perimeter) because of the number of people simply travelling to/from Jita.
Remember, Jita doesn't lag because the server is insufficient, Jita lags because people keep going to Jita until it lags. It's your classic network effect - the more people there are the more attractice it becomes, and lag is actually the only balancing factor that stops even more people going there. At various points in EVE history the hardware backing Jita has been improved to handle better load, and all it results in is the very same lag the next day, but with higher numbers in local.
CCP are to my knowledge looking at ways of splitting a system between nodes so they can improve Jita performance. But let's say they split it across two nodes for a doubling of capacity - I expect that within a few days, you'd have exactly the same lag in Jita but with 1500 people in the system rather than the 700+ you get now.
