This is a message to all former members of Eve University that have gone out into the Eve community, had fun or emorage quit and just returned, or none of the above:
Over the past few months, the population of the EU 18+ (Eve University 18+ channel) has been dwindling. Whatever the reason may be, I'd like to re-invite you to join one of the more interesting phenomona of Eve. The EU 18+ channel has predominantly been a channel where both current and former members from Eve Uni keep in contact; it is interesting because it allows players who spent time in Eve Uni to see how inter-connected and diverse Eve is, while at the same time offering resources such as alliance recruitment assistance, diplo contacts, and many impromptu piracy skirmishes with old friends.
True, it's another window in the 5000 you have for whatever alliance or corporation you now inhabit, but the fun in logging in and seeing good friends and old wingmen being redboxed, as well as getting insider perspectives on conflicts and happens across Eve that are otherwise sorely lacking.
So, for all those current and former students, drop by: AAYLLAA needs more people in her support group: Living with Primary.

I was hoping for a channel with some explicit topics being discussed, and was sorely disappointed after reading the OP. ;(

To be fair, I haven't been to the channel in question, but usually when I see "18+" or "adults only" on the internets, I automatically think "Oh, so that's where they go to get their cyborz on".
I don't know if that was the intention or not, but that's the impression I got from the OP.

a few reasons eurozone population in eve is dropping ( and US) but up in russia etc its summer in the northern hemisphere every year the population base online in eve drops in the northern areas ( wow has it and other games)
but a few specific to eve is the focus instead of planetary interaction and jove is ambulence.
Plus old age creeping in as far as game goes. Lag issues lack of new 0.0 space, domination by mega alliances game is in temp decline so explains a lot of peeps mvoing on
