Actually and to clear things up the problem of BoB isn't BoB themselves, its the allies.
Bob has many allies and most are, well either incompetent or too small ( number wise ) too make a difference.
Fountain wasn't protected by BoB either, Exuro, Axe, Blade. , Corelli, HUN, those alliances were in Fountain at the time of the steamroller , from all those only HUN had quality but unfortunately lacked numbers, others were , well all talk no action.
This whole MAX thing is overrated, imo BoB is still one of the best alliances out there, they have some nice people in, some idiots i'd love to kick in the nutz too but then again we'll find both times of persons everywere in EvE, but, BoB of today doesn't seem to be the BoB of old times.
In my eyes they have nothing else to prove they have done it all and thats probably the only reason we are not seeing the BoB Alliance of old.
Anyways one thing is clear, besides, Tri, RA, CELES , MDK, X13 and some others i forget , that are still alive and kicking, there isn't any other alliance or corporation that can match BoB's feats.
There seems to be a complete lack of people with the desire, motivation, stamina, quality in sum, to actually DO what others did.
I kinda like to chat and see stories about the alliances of old eve, m0o, GODS, NVA, FA, FE, CA and noone in our present time has what these guys had.
Anyways thats what i think and sort, move along, yadda-yadda-yadda...
