no billboard pictures? what the hell? I see their advertising but no picture its aas if i get a huge graphics chop. Also on some bases as some random bases seem to look... well... cut up n stuff... everything else the graphics work find and its just 1 out of every 10 bases that looks like that. Im guessing the base naturally looks like that... *shrug* but im clueless as to why the billboards can't show player pictures.

if you have a nvidia card use the 55.03 drivers, fixed this for me.

the nvidia website has them, when u go to download the drivers on the left side of the screen will be a like for a driver archive. btw its not 55.03, its 53.04. my bad

I suggest using the 53.03 based Omega drivers found at www.omegacorner.com, IF you use anisotropic filtering. They look better than anything out from Nvidia and billboards work fine.
I also suggest adding advancedDevice=1 to your prefs.ini and then turning the 32bit Z-buffer...

I had that happen to me this weekend when playing on my husband's computer while mine was down for maintainence. Funny thing was he had latest drivers installed due to a problem he was having with another game he plays, so not sure what caused it, but billboards were fine when I went back to my own computer using the same drivers.

I have this problem and Im using the 56.64 drivers on a Nvidia Quadro FX1000

hmm i really need the new ones (they fix several problems in other new games). Does anybody know a possible fix for this? I'm currently running the 61.32 drivers from guru3d.com with a Geforce FX 5950 Ultra.
