LOW: Signal Distort T2 X2

Not sure about the vamp/neut...I shouldn't be that close to the fight, but you never know. Thoughts on the drones is to keep the hobs out if being attacked by drones, a set of after the fight drones, and a set of ecm in case.... EFT claims a 5 sec lock at a range of 118km more or less.. Course in a major fleet fight nothing but staying home will save me *S* So feel free to post +/- of said setup.
Oh, been told that using smartbombs is a fast way to get sent home by "friendlies".

Drop the DCU II for a 1600mm plate. Run a Lock range script on the sensor booster and fit a 3rd signal distortion instead of the relatively weak signal amplifier. Auto-targeters are useless so drop it. Since you're a support ship it doesn't really matter what your weapons are. If you do plan on staying close the nuets would be better just for support, but i'd recommend staying really far away from the battle and not worrying about damage much.
Now warp into the battle at 100km and cripple your opponents for your teamates. Laugh and warp out if anything begins to approach you or you get called primary.

drop the DCUs and put is CPR/PDU or whatever - drop the cap recharger II from the mid and put a MWD in. If it does not fit, start dropping cruise missle launchers untill it fits.

Personally I just use 2 heavy neuts and 4 large smartbombs. Neuts get rid of pesky tacklers you don't have a spare jammer for, smartbombs kill drones or overzealous frigates (if they're silly enough to get within the 6k - it happens more often than seems reasonable but I guess that's what you get when you send the noobs to tackle)

ya, Neuts and Smarties is always good - I think the idea that you will be contributing any form of real dps with cruise missles is a fantasy. Just get the 3 SDAs and the last low right and your mids right - the rest is flavor.

the m in mwd stands for mandatory: not only does it let you burn to optimal or back to the gate faster, but it lets you reduce your align time to 10seconds via pulsing, which is tremendously important.
