2 nights ago I found a GIANT, I thought it was a small humming bird at first, beetle outside my window. So I opened up the window and caught him. I was thinking of naming him Goliath for his size and the double meaning "goliath Beetle". I still hadn't decided yet though. Of course in the morning I couldn't find him and he had escaped. Fast forward to today.
I was sitting on the toilet when I heard a bunch of scampering. Apparently Goliath had just then gotten his back right leg caught in a spider's web behind the toilet. I watched for 10 minutes as the spider slowly winched the beetle, 30-40 times his size, back toward the center of his web. Eventually the spider managed to get the second leg and somehow pulled goliath, upside-down, several inches off the ground. Goliath, big enough to feed the spider for many weeks, is now dead.
I'm thinking of naming the spider "David". What do you think?

QFT. The other night I was watching my kitty vs a wolf spider. Spider was scampering across the floor and BAM, double paw smackdown. She backs off and the spider lay there for a second all crumpled up and probably thinking 'OOOOWWWW!'. Finally it got up to limp away and BAM, right hook from the paw. It layed there some more but as soon as it moved BAM!, double paw attack. Then she scooped it in her left paw and tried to eat it.

sounds like my cat TBH
they'll kill and eat anything moving. The most entertaining one i've seen is a moth in the window (i was inside moth was outside) cat splattered the moth on the window then proceeded to lick the window clean

Not my cat. You should see him chasing flies, he smacks his face into the wall more than once when a fly manages to find its way into my apt. Funnier than hell, but my cat is kinda a dumbass.

My cat brought a snake back... but it was still alive and playing dead. 
Never did find out where it went...
Oh and also my cat kills, well everything, its made a hiding hole for all its rabbits in the garden, theres about 6 in there now
