First of all, having sex with animals is not okay because they can't tell you to stop. They can't speak. Until animals learn to communicate with us and tell it's okay, it's NOT OKAY. Having sex with a woman in a box with no vocal chords is r.ape. Having sex with a mentally disabled child who can't tell you no is r.ape. Having sex with a sheep, that can't make you stop, is r.ape. And of course animals have feelings - pain, affection, pleasure - all the emotions humans have. That is completely irrelevant. It's like when other minorities/majorites(I spell that right?) try to declare they're different by making large stances of it and declaring that they like this, or that, or something else. Quite frankly, not many people really give a damn, and attenting whoring the fact that you do just makes you plain irritating. I have nothing against furries myself, it's the absolute crap that ends up on art-front pages that irritates me.
