News flash! Just in from the Deep in Xetic Space.
In Xetic space minutes ago converation began between the Great Dark Lord of VOTF Of Curse Alliance and Starship Captain Abisha Director of Security of Omega Investments from the Xetic alliance.
From within the silence of deep space a open communication came from a Soft voice from Abisha to the Dark Lord Challenging him to a 1vs1 duel to the death. Near a space station in deep Xetic space. Where Curse Alliance forces has encountered forces of the Xetic Alliance.
Suddenly silence of space fills the com.
Dark Lord keys up the com and responds "You mean a 1 versus 1"
Abisha reponds "yes, just you an I."
So the battle began, Dark Lord in his Scorpion -vs- Abisha
in her Tempest.
Missiles flying, guns a blaring.
Both commanders yelling orders to the crew to power up the shields and increase the engines and come within optimal range.
Can the brave Abisha defeat the Dark Lord.
After both commanders doing what the do best Abisha is force to warp out.
Dark Lord has almost no damage and the Abisha Tempest is smoking from the back side.
Then silence once again fills the communcation console.
And then the Soft voice of Abisha, "Nice fight Dark Lord"
Dark Lord with sweat pouring down keys up the com and replys "Great fight Abisha, you fought with honors"
Dark Lord then keys up the ships console and replys "Nice job crew we defeated the Tempest with only a small amount of damage to the shields"
They met in battle to find out who is still top commander.
The battle lasted only a short time with and with a "Good fight captain you fought with honor"
Thats all I have right now.

Sadly i had to log before that happened, rl sometimes takes its toll on us mere mortals.
But tomorrow its another day, and another fight.

was the scorp fitted for dampening or jamming, if so that would make it pretty one sided for the scorp, if not it should be pretty one sidded for the tempest, thats what im curious about.

Didnt Know death was considered Warping out. If you challenge someone to the death, then die. especially if u do it while ur in a tempest fighting a scorp, lol. Dont get me wrong tempest is a great ship, but not when ur jammed.

we had to tell him his agent said that the enemy ship was really a rare roid called omber and that it has "isogen" in it and that if he mind it with his 1400's his agent would pay him 10k. needless to say xirtam pwnd the enemy "omber" and i gave him 10k just dont tell him it wasnt his agent.

4 miner2's 2 launchers with rockets, 7 civ shield boosters and a roidscanner. and i think he had 4 basic damage controls in his low slots

Yeah, those Miner IIs aren't to good for shields, but they eat armor like nothing else. Xirt told me he got almost 2k trit off the Tempest's hull before it warped out!

The Scorpion pilot forgot to say he was using ECM, maybe the reason why he received so few shield damages
Revenge was that the scorpion pilot didn't shot down the Tempest 
Galaga (Galaxian - XIF corp) And yes, Olyyy is on our KOS list so she enjoys stirring the "flames" ( 2004.05.25 ) |
