Hello,
I am wanting to run 2 accounts on 1 pc (boxing), I have a q6600 at 3.5ghz, 4 gigs of ram and a 9600gt vcard. Will I have any trouble with doing that on this system? 2nd) I just bought the game on my first account and it has 9 days left on the 14 days. I know that you cant run a trial account when boxing, so if i went in to that account and bought it today with 14 days left would I be able to start boxing today or would it see 9 days left here and 14 days there, and I would have to wait until the 14 days was up on the second account?
Thank you for your time and info! Darkshadow1029

Yes, running both at once. I've run both in full screen as well as both in window mode, either way works great!
And yes, as soon as you upgrade to a paid account you will be able to run 2 clients at once.

I run a quadcore @ 3.0ghz with 4gb ram and gforce 8800gt. I can play my miner, my hauler, watch youtube, help a friend level in diablo II, while burning DVDs. Yeah I just paid for two accounts and copied the game directory so I have two unique folders to run the game from (not required but recommended in another thread). I didn't use my full 14 day trail either.
Works perfectly.

Agree with above.
I run quadcore 2.4s, 8 gigram, VisionTek Radeon HD3870 video card. I have been able to run 4 clients at a time no problems. I usually run them in window mode, easier to switch between them quickly. Also when you do this change colors so you can differentiate the different accounts quicker. Hope this helps.
As mentioned before it is better if you copy game folders and run the different clients that way.
VERY dependent on your computer setup though, friend tried it with POS old pentium and it was slow...you may lag yourself to death.

As others have said, it would be upgraded to a full account immeadiately, so you would be able to run both accounts.
However, if you activate the trial account using credit card you will lose the remaining 9 days of trial time.
If you activate using a GTC you will keep the remaining 9 days of trial time.
Any attempt to switch between the credit card/direct debit payment option and GTC/trial account payment option will result in the loss of any remaining game time. As such it is officially recommended that you wait until your account expires before re-activating your account with the new payment type: Quote: If you are switching to Game Time Cards from other payment methods, make sure your subscription period has expired before activating the Game Time Card. It will take effect immediately, regardless of the remaining time of your previous subscription.

For what it is worth. I currently run two accounts one trial and one full. I plan on upgrading when the 14 days is up. How I do it is I have two copies of Eve. I fire up the full account first and then use the second copy to fire up the trial. This works for me.

I have no problem running two clients even on this laptop; 2ghz Core 2 Duo, GF 8400 GS and 2 gb ram. Of course, that's with the old graphics, but for me that doesn't really matter. I care more about gameplay than looks, and it's not as if the old gfx are ugly.
So yeah, like the others have said so far; shouldn't have any problems. And if you do, just run it like me and you could run four clients no problem.

You aren't supposed to be able to run a trial account and any other account at the same time. So you should need to have BOTH accounts paid to be able to run more than one per system.
If you can do that - it's because of a bug and could be considered an exploit though I don't know how much they care.
You can run more than one at a time of course if you have more than one computer.
I have run more than one account on a system 5 years old - but - with 1.5 gig of RAM.
Here, it depends on what you want to do.
If you are mining then you can run more than one account per system with little consequence.
If you are missioning - you can still do it but you could have problems.
I would not try that PVPing unless you really knew just exactly what you were doing.
Also, you can have problems sometimes switching from one account to another. I have trouble with the screen updating to the new account even though the system has. Here, hitting Alt-Enter to switch in and out of Windowed mode usually gets my screen back.
If you do have trouble there have been several threads in the Known Problems forum discussing various things you might do.
