Maybe I'm too noob to understand this, but what exactly are you selling?
The corp name?
Because all the standings would rapidly change toward the new owner's standing levels after you leave the corp, unless there's something I'm missing about how corp standings work.
So far I've been thinking that a corp in and by itself bears no value except it's name and any POSes it may have.
What am I missing?

This corp is meant as a research corp. If the new owner has no standings with any of the corp/factions listed then the standings will remain as they are. I bought this corp almost a year ago but I have no standings with anyone so the standings do not change. If you have standing with say the Caldari State then yes the standing would change over time. So yes if you have standings then this corp is useless to you.(I have heard but not confirmed that even if you have standings your corp standing will not change until you run a mission. this is unconfirmed) But if you have no standing and want to setup a pos in empire space to do your own research and invention then this corp is of great value to you, considering the only other option is to go into low security space to setup a pos.

Would you accept a 300m buyout offer with the request of a split-risk transaction?
That is: I join the corp and pay you 50% (150m isks) then you transfer CEOship, then I pay you the remaining 150m.
All steps would be documented in this thread, of course.
