Reduced effectiveness webbers means the target can much more easily disengage. At 9km they'll happily sail out of web range before you can do much damage.

Fair enough on that point, but I was thinking more of a direct fight rather than trying to catch someone. I don't think the Mega will be seriously hurt in terms of its own survivability, and if you're talking about stopping people escaping then the other BS are at as much of a disadvantage as the Mega. I don't see it as a bad thing that battleships should be accompanied by smaller tacklers. |

Yeah, the mega may well not be hurt too much. But it is a nerf, even if a mild one, and the intention is not to nerf blasterboats (unless they have a hidden agenda /tinfoil), so it is a bad side effect which should be mitigated if possible.
That ranty comment about understanding the consequences wasn't directed at you in particular BTW. A lot of people point out, quite correctly, that neither the MWD change nor the web change kills blasterboats. Its the combination which may harm them.

I like 'sacked', it's short and concise for battlecoms. 'Shackled' is also cool, but doesn't spit out as fast as 'sacked'.
Follow the target painter designations by renaming all scram modules Strategic Acceleration Control or somesuch.
