i always loved the hooded cloaks, and on my ranch when i have to ride or go long distences i always wear one with the hood on. I have my knife strapped to my theigh so I feel like a fremen in Dune.
(too bad I dont have a giant worm to ride)
regradless, I think we should all start wearing hooded cloaks around citys and towns to bring them back into fashion, (we could wear them right now, but you look like a wierdo).
if you wondering "why other then fashion?" its atually cause they are really useful. they keep out the rain. they keep you warm, ironiclly they keep you cool (wear one loose in the blazing sun, let the air circulate, you actually stay cooler).
I think we all should.

Where would I be able to find a cloak, last I checked most major retailer didn't carry them. Of course I just might not be looking in the right places, but some help would be useful.

The Renaissance Fair down near Kenosha, Wisconsin has tailor shops that have them..
Damn expensive though. Just under $100 there. But that's there, afterall.
One of the years I went they had a contest for a suit of Sauron armor. Now THAT would be something to have.

...i could actuly get away wearing one around here. i live in one of those medieval towns. the city is over 1200 years old and it kinda live on the turists...

Some of these cloaks make the wearer look like a giant *****. And I mean literally.
Prime example.
Even gurls look like ****s in that stuff
