Yes thats right, it slices, it dices, and even prints reports! Features include: - Clock In/Out Functionality - For easy time management!
- Accurate Mathematics that takes into account Lasers, Mining Level, Astrogeology Level, Basic and Harvestor Drones, and Mining Drone Skill Level!
- Corp Cut Percentages Handled Automatically!
- In-depth reports showing exactly who gets what minerals and how much their estimated value is!
- Locking and Tracking Mechanisms to make sure that erroneous information does not get computed!
Yes thats right ladies and gentlemen, now you too can give everyone an equal share for their mining time. Simply clock the miners in, input their information once, and it is saved forever! Then, clock them out when they are finished mining, and input the number of minerals received after the refine and WALLA! Hehe Darrin, just think though, once it is installed you will never need to download the .NET Framework again! So all the awesome stuff that I come out with for EVE (and all the stuff that is already out but not posted) will suddenly become availiable to you! More to come on those extra programs btw... This tool is fantastic, thank you very much!
If you're into taking requests, would be nice to have an option where it would give ore splits instead of isk payouts. Would come in handy multicorp ops....

Edited by: Black Seraph on 28/05/2004 14:19:50 It doesn't only do ISK payouts it does mineral splits, but yes I will add in the option for ore splits in the next version. Thanks for all your support guys, as far as the NOAN version goes, yes, its online, but doesn't provide the same degree of accuracy. ISK Donations are gladly accepted - Lemme know about more changes you guys want to see.
EDIT: As far as protection/haulers go - Give them what you think is worth their work, our corp has decided on 7 lasers for protectors and 6 for haulers, give them what you think is adequate. I Don't Need Satan, I Have My Own Hell To Raise.

It looks nice but it seems to be lacking some things. Maybe you could add a preferences so that it saves things like the corp cut. Also you should have either check boxes or radio buttons for whether they do hauling or protection. We like to work it so that anyone involved in the op gets a cut of the minerals. The reporting was nice but maybe some other report options. Still several errors. Specifically one that comes up when you try to save a file. Maybe some way to designate a straight split across every one who participates instead of splitting based on equipment and skills.
Other than those issues I think the tool looks great and is quite easy to use.

As far as the hauling/protection goes, enter in what values you think are adequate for the job they provide, by adding a set "Hauling" or set "Protecting" radio/check box I take away the power of the person running the Mining Op to decide just how big that cut is. As far as the error you refer to when trying to save a file, I have no idea what your talking about, could you please explain? It is programmed to display a message box with any exceptions that are thrown during the save process, so if you are getting something along those lines it is probably security permissions on your side, or something to that effect, please give me the exacts and I will see if it is a programmatical issue. As far as a straight split to all of the people, give everyone the same laser count and they will all get an even share, but I will put an option for that into the next patch. As far as the corp cut and other preferences page goes, Awesome Idea! I will be implementing that into the next version. Thanks a lot man!
For all: This program is still a working progress, if you see anything at all that doesn't work right or that could be changed for the better, lemme know. I Don't Need Satan, I Have My Own Hell To Raise.

I see the tab order is out on the Clock In box. I tab from Name, to # lasers, to Clock In, to Cancel, to Harvies, etc. I was expecting to tab from top to bottom.
Also, maybe changing the minerals from alphabetical to rarity. From abundance (Trit) to rare (Morph). (Just something else I was expecting.) Though this is just a personal preference.
Maybe displaying the log with out having to save it? Or doing an auto save with the date and time. As you may have more than one mining secession during a day, but only one per time frame On the Clock In window. Adding a list box similar to the list of names in the Select a User window.

Edited by: Matthew on 29/05/2004 00:15:00 Most mining ops that I've been on as a hauler, I've been employed for a fixed rate per hour of hauling, rather than a cut of the minerals mined. Would be nice to be able to specify players who get paid a flat-rate like this, instead of valuing their input by a number of lasers. You could then have it set aside a share of the minerals to pay for these fixed-rate people (using the isk values of the minerals), before splitting up shares for everyone else.

And if you combine this with the Pulgor CAP (Cooperative Action Plan) forums you can truely disipline those who don't meet quotas! EVE truly can be a real-life job!
The Pulgor CAP system is easy. Simply write the employee's name in the "CAP given to:" field and write your corps name in the "Corporation:" field and your name (as a supervisor) in the "Employee's Supervisor:" Field. Then assign penalties for each CAP. Here are the defaults:
CAP 1: Employee will be suspended from any future pay increases. CAP 2: Employee will recieve a 50% pay cut. CAP 3: Employee will recieve no pay and a stern talking to. CAP 4: Employee is terminated.
Then simply write the conditions on which the CAP can be lifted, like "Must mine 500k of Kernite this month."
Seriously though, this is where EVE is heading. -----------------------------------

As far as the tab order goes, I checked it and you are correct, it is being appended to the list of changes in the following version, I am also going to check the tab orders on the other forms as well. Concerning the order of the minerals, alphabetical order seems the easiest all around, you can always find something without having to remember the rarity, this makes it so that miners who have never seen zydrine nor recognize its rarity can still find pyerite. As far as viewing the log without saving it, I will add in a preview checkbox, regarding saving with multiple ops/day - you can name the file whatever you wish, it just defaults to log for [date]. As far as the clock in box is concerned, a listbox will make it too big, I will add a combo box, similar to the run command, where you can select things with a dropdown arrow or type them in yourself. The main reason that the tab order is out of whack is because in version 1.0 most of that stuff was not in the Clock In form, so when I added all the extras they came in afterward and I forgot to change the tab index.

This will be difficult to do, I suppose that if others agree that this should be implemented I will add in another form, and a button that raises it on the User Display form (the one where you lock the minerals). It will be availiable only immediately after the minerals are locked, and it will allow special payments to be made to an individual player or players. (Their time spent mining will be shown after highlighting them) - The payments will only be able to be entered as being less than or equal to the total minerals mined for that type, and it will then detract that from the total that everyone gets. It will be availiable only immediately after the minerals are locked (i.e. before the report is produced or results are displayed for individual users) so that there are no inaccuracies in the report as a whole, all changes to the totals must be completed before the percentages are computed. This will however free up the wage-style mining concerns that were expressed by others, I think I will do it.

While I appreciate the feedback, I believe that this is something that should be handled completely independantly of this program, you can use the program's results to determine if they are meeting whatever requisites you set forth, but since enforcement of these requisites is not possible by this program, execution of the restrictions should not be implemented as well.

Ive been playing with this prog off yours and on first tise its very sweeet, but it appears that mineral values can only be set on round numbers and not specific. In theory thats not a big fuss but would be cool to see the real values.
bit out off topic, but can you give a small scope peak on the other progs??? ----
