I never had a ship that was worth nanoing. Well, i DO have a Crow but I just use it as a shuttle.
Caldari pilots, especially new ones probably won't understand the outrage at the nerf. We only had one weapon to deal with nano's and our ships are generally some of the slowest if you try to speed fit them. I think they assume everyone has trouble dealing damage to nanos like we do with Heavy Missile Launchers/HAMs.

i acctually stopped flying nano way before the nerf was announced.... carebears who whined about nanos and ouldnt adapt, are still going to be slaughtered by people like me... because we are just plain better :D
edit: was on test server for a few hours... poor nubs... trying to figure out how to use a curse thats not nano or ishtar thats not nano :P
zealot is the new i win button :D vaga still good.
only really stupid thing i have issue whit is the t2 scram change... it was NOT the boos the arazu or lacheisis needed. tho i fit ab on my zealot so i owned quite a few of those on test today :P
for interceptors.. thats going to be death tho :(

Why post with my main?
Several reasons.
1)If you post with your main, I will be able to see if your trolling or not.
2)I will be able to double check that you actually know what your talking about, because if that character is your main youve only been playing for 2 months and are in a noob corp, which means you know nothing and should stop posting.
3)You wont be taken seriously unless you post with your main, because if you did, the people replying will be able to see the above, aswell as witness that you actually have any integrity as an OP.

Whether we believe this nerf was necessary or not, what would possess you to take the time to start this thread? Pointless, dumb thread.
And since we're slinging opinions, the nerf was ungraceful, heavy handed, and generally just not very well planned in my opinion. Nublet majority ftl.

I don't fly nano ships, and never intend to, but if they nerf it hard now, they can always tweak it a bit after. Plus, this isnt even live on Tranq yet, so I don't see why people are stressing over something that is subject to change.

Lastly, nanos were not broken, sure they had many advantages, namely the advantage of mobility and such an advantage is one for those who like to avoid blobs... But when it came down to it they had many counters and the people wanting such a nerf were just angry traditional tactics didnt always work...
Taking away many nano boats means less veriables, and in video games variables are fun.

Let us not forget the gallente nerf, that was a fair bit more sledgehammerish than this...
Call me bitter but somehow seeing other people get nerfed and crying now after all my training was destroyed last time makes me happy. |
