First off, I was just starting to train the HAC route when he class was summoned to the guillotine. I have been in a BC for about a week now. It is not nearly as much fun as my destroyer or even cruiser, but it can sure take a pounding.
Now, since the HAC required massive ship support skills (5 level V's), it is not the end of the world for me. Those support skills will be valuable with any ship.
So where do people who like the idea of actually FLYING a ship, rather than wading into the middle of a slugfest, go from here?
What class should I look at?

HACs are still viable, they were used before nano widely and they still will be used widely, only now, you have to put a tank on it and not just overdrives and a mwd with polycarbs if your feeling rich

HACs you can still engage most battleships, the most problematic ones are cruise/torp ravens in lowsec HACs and recons still win

BCs are good, so are HACs, the support skills for HACs come in really handy anyway ______

Look at the thread for AB speed tanking inside web range, Its not only possible but you can even do it without the AB. What im saying is with the Web Nerf its possible to kill a BS with a HAC 1v1... several people have had success doing it on SiSi.

I disagree, the most problematic ones are, by far, the ones that have heavy neuts. So cruise / torps ravens lol.
