I wasn't too impressed with it and will continue to use Google. Seems they added an auto complete search feature similar to Youtube's and I like it.

they will need some time to refine de search results and crawl more web pages the main point is that dont store the search made from IP's and this is good decision

While it will help them score some brownie points for customers in the beginning, I wonder how they will be able to turn profits. I believe this is how Google does it?

Edited by: Istvaan Shogaatsu on 29/07/2008 22:01:54 This thing's a piece of garbage. They made a big deal out of it in the weekend paper, so I decided to try it out... not nearly as effective as Google.

I saw something about this on the BBC News website. So I followed the link, and put in a simple search term*, one for which I know there are several hundred pages of results on Google.
No matches found.
Epic Fail, as they say.
*It was "Eloy" which under Google returns the website of a German prog-rock band, and some stuff about a place claaed Eloy, which I can only imagine is some small backwater town in the US.

In fact there's an Eloy where the I-8 and I-10 meet in Arizona, about halfway between Tucson and Phoenix. It's the largest town in Arizona, but has a very small population.

Yeah, I was after the stuff on the German Prog Rock band, so never took much notice of the pages about the town. One day I may look it up and inform myself about the place.
