When ever i try to transfer the character, i receive this message, or even when i try and change the portrait i receive that message. Ive tried to send it to 2 different accounts and still get that message. The FAQS don't say anything about it and it doesn't give me any idea on why its not letting me transfer the character. Ive done everything ive been told - be in an NPC corp etc, so any reasons why its not working?
(sorry for posting this thread here i couldn't actually see a more suitable forum topic to post it under, no 'technical support' forums as far as i could see)

erm what message you getting exactly? sounds to me like your credit card is being rejected for whatever reason.

This problem is CCP side and not yours.
Only thing you can do is petition it and a GM will wave his magic-wand to fix it.
(happened to me)

tried 4 different credit cards, thanks for the info - ive never made a petition before, do i do that in game? or on the website..or?

Hi sonyk,
As others have already stated, you will need to create a new petition under "Billing and Account" and use the drop down to select "Character Transfers".
Once you submit your petition a GM will be happy to resolve the matter for you

Since this is not an in game issue i'd use the external option. the button to create a new petition is under the EVE Support header in the side-bar.

I did it in game - go to help on the left-bar and it says 'Create a Petition' or something along that lines. You want to chose 'Account and Billing' or something along those lines.

(make sure its not going to a trail account too though, but I'm fairly sure its the card)
