Partial tally 58NC/15GMC
This is a hort battle report about a small semi-heavy gang of support ships with a few battleship tagging allong
At roughly 1900 eve hour word came through the battle channels of a RA gang of 40 camping the EC-PBR gate a gang of support/BS was quickly formed and the gate was retaken in short order while the rest of the RA gang retreated into torrinos. So there we were again with nothing to do, our FC and most WCs had left for a well deserved rest. After one our of hanging arround with nothing to do a gang was formed with Kawasakii as its FC and SFShootme and Lucy as to of the WCs. The gang was a total of 93 ships with 21 BS thrown in. I suspect that these were pilots itching for a fight as RA and NC are not putting up much of a fight at the moment. There aer a couple of cloaking gangs between EC- and X-70 but these are inconsequential unless you travel alone.
at roughly 20:30 the order was given to go roaming through X-70 on our way to CCP-US. The fleet was given orders to burn thorugh to one jump from CP-US when our luck ran out and a single Zealot jump through into DO6H-Q. The surprise factor was lost, a quick discussion followed on what to do: should we go somewhere else or push through.
The dicision of jumping in was taken and the fleet jumped into CCP-US in stages with the order of burning through the bubble on MWD whilst taking targets of opportunity. We did this and must have caught the 30 or so at the gate by surprise even though the word was out that we were comming. Once outside the bubble we jump to a planet and started a series of hit and run attacks on the the DO6H-Q gate alternating some times on the 2R-CRW gates allways taking some of the defenders whislt staying at range. by tyhis point NC had roughly 60-70 ships and 2 bubbles on the DO6 gate whislt having much lighter defense on the 2R- gate. This diference in camping told us that NC wnated us to go into 2R-CRW. An attack was mounted at 20 of the gate so that one of our scouts in a cover ops could slip into 2R-CRW. We retreated again to a planet to wait for intel.. 5 minutes later the word came out that the system was free of flying ships but their Titan pilo michaello(if I emember correctly) was online. A quick plan was formed to see if we could goad the NC defenders to move from the DO6H-Q gate and give chse to us. After a series of attacks with the NC pilots staying stuck on the gate and not falling into the trap of chasing us. We even made it ovious that we were warping to the same planet all the time but only a few followed that were disptched very quickly (there are allways lemmings on fleets). The ides is to make them to chase us, thus reducing their strenght at the gate, and doble back and jump into DO6H-Q in order to escape.
When wi noticed that thsi was not happening we started an obvious pattern of attacks... warp in kill a couple, warp out and repeat except that on the 6th time we jumpt to the gate. We switched our MWD and burn to the gate. At this point lag caught up with me I woke up on my new shinny body many parsecs away. For the rest of the action I was not privy to what happened but as I undesrtood at the time NC decided at last to give chase but our fleet managed to escape. There might have been more kills and losses but I have no inlcination to look into all the corps participating on the killboard (I have only added those kills and loses by my alliance and BOBs Kb)
Kudos to NC for sustaining damage and not falling into the trap

Yeah, was a good fight, but your tally is a bit wrong. My main had 17 killmails alone, and he wasn't even in a sniper. But anyway, someone more bothered can trawl through the killboards if they like.
Still, we appreciated you guys jumping in, and lag was gladly missing for most of it. Bit of cat and mouse at the end, with us trying to jump on top of you lot and drop a bubble, but you got out with only a few of your slower ships dying.

Best fleet-fight I've had in the last couple of years at least. 210-230 in local and lag was completely absent.
Guns reloading, grid loading in 2-3 seconds, targets locking as they should... brought back memories of GNW brawls.
Mad propellers to IRONRAZRMORSUSPURE HARMLESS for not overloading the grid with swarms of drones or fighters and for roughly half an hour of fun gaming. T'was EVE at its best. Thank you guys.

I think it's pretty obvious now what the "Max" strategy is:
Deprive RA/Solar/Legion/whatever new alliance was made this week of the moons they farm for isk.
And, thinking about it, this is something that I think the bobbits might actually be able to pull off, even if they can't hold onto those moons themselves, if they keep breaking the POS's that mine them, it denies them the isk.
Now, it's pretty much speculation, but fairly obvious that they farm isk from moons to both buy ships from alliances that produce them and GTC's to fund their accounts. It's no secret that most of RA/offshoot alliances themselves don't have much of an industrial base. Since the GTC price increase you've seen an increased drive by these alliances to grab every dypso/prom moon they can. No coincidence I will bet you.
If access to those moons are denied then RA and company have to either turn to other means to make isk (thus making them less available to fight and more vulnerable to losses) OR they have to eat some more allies in space harder for bob to reach and take THEIR moons. RA and company have done this in the past, and will do so again.
Thus destroying the remnants of the "coalition" without even having to take their space.
I'm no fan of bob, but that's pretty subtle and well thought out strategy, if indeed it is the plan.

This to be honest sums it up. How eve should be played - not with standoffs worried about titans and fighter lag. Just for fun. Thanks for being ballsy guys and jumping in.
