It has been established in another thread that the only advantage large blasters have over torpedos is the good looks of the ships to which they are fitted. As such, surely it would make sense to focus the ship bonus on the one advantage ships of this class have? Perhaps a role bonus could also be given, that lowered these ships resistance to slowdown from spinning in the station, since together with the reflective ship bonus, would allow this class of ship to utterly excell in its intended role. Discuss!

Thats not what he meant. He says that blaster platform (mega, hype) has no advantage over torpedo platform (Raven) in terms of damage. Apparently, he doesnt care that fitting Raven with MWD, Web, Scram and Cap Injector leaves it completely tankless. Though I admit, Raven cap-independent weapons make cap injector not as vital. Not that I say MWD bonus should stay as is, but argument is flawed. --- Redesign local/scanner feature - make the place huge, dark and scary again!

You guys on the forums are so black and white... you either agree with the OP or you're completely against it. I was just saying you're "tanking" your raven wrong.
