Fun in PvP-Games is usually and almost mainly obtained by PvP'ing. In this case, by shooting other people and blowing up spaceships and stuff. This is not RL, it has no bearing on RL and so you can just do what you find fun, if people get fun from creating vast interstellar empires and griefing people then fine, if people get it ganking haulers in lo sec then thats fine, if other get it from getting a fight wherever they can even if they are almost certain to get "killed", then it doesnt make them stupid. You seem to get your fun out of trolling on forums for example (as do i to some extent), I dont see how that is any more clever than just playing the game for lols.

So far NC has only been able to win a battle if it uses Supercaps + Caps + fleet and a cynojammer while gbc ties both hands behind its back and uses nothing bigger than a BS. Kinda defeats the argument does it not? Secondly, you understand how valuble POS's are? They are not some pulsating towers that do nothing. Most NPC ratters do not understand the true value of them. Right now they simply want to get BoB out, go back to a peaceful/relaxed state and see PvP as an unfortunate necessity which they prefer not to get involved in too much. When people step up who like conflict and see it as the reason they play, the NC will start doing better. They might lose alot of ships in the beginning but they can improve over time and benefit from it later on.
