Boy: Tristan; it's a name with a lot of gallantry associated with it, as he was a legendary English Knight associated with King Arthur as well as a cute little Gallente frigate ;)
Girl: Raven or Eris; both are great names.

Dont ****ing screw your new born baby up with some stupid ****ing name which she/he will be bullied in school or in life in general.
Both of your suggestions are ****ing horrible (Number 1. so far is "Raven Caldari" for a girl and "Lachesis Widowmaker" for a boy.)
But if you are determined to this. For god sakes. Name her/him some decent name like "Eve" if you get a girl.

I've got to say, contradicatory to the apparent complete lack of cultural knowledge of some of the names in Eve given by the current comments, a huge number of names in Eve would be appropriate, just unusual. However given some of the names that are cropping up these days, I'm not sure it would matter.
Make sure that it's a name with a legend - a story behind it that you can tell them, one that they'd like. It would make them feel proud of their name, and when people ask 'what does it mean?' they have something to tell them. Also consider the flow of the name - having a nice name from Greek mythology is fine as long as it sounds good. "Helios McDermid" sounds terrible. If you have religious friends or family, you may want to reconsider if you choose an Amarr ship name: naming your child 'Abaddon' might find you with family troubles.
Consider contractions of the name, for nicknames (and I don't mean some of the out-of-the-way-to-be-awkward contractions that some of the populace of Eve give things).
Lastly, consider initials. "Badger Jita McDermid" will lead to complete rippings in the playfield, and would also require an accelerated introduction to certian biological and social facts...

EvE is a nice name for a girl too but you are about 1 month late since WallòE is out and the Axiom "girl" robot was named EvE too. People will pretty much think it's a copy rather than being original due to the movie.

Actually don't use ship names.

Lachesis would be pretty bad for a boy, as the mythological character was female! As well as that, she is one of the Fates, usually described as ugly old crones.
Personally, I would avoid mythological names. They are either obscure, or have connotations that are too well-known. I think, however, that the name Eris is an exception - even though she was the Greek goddess of discord and chaos! Eve is hackneyed.
For something a little less obvious, maybe trawl through the list of agents' names? Or backstory characters? Jamyl (Jamyl Sarum) is actually quite an attractive name for a girl IMHO.

Honestly who cares where your name comes from, it only matters if you like it. If I had a interesting name I really would not care where it came from.
I would rather be called Mordu or Kador, then something boring and old fashioned like Charles, Edward or William.
