What exactly is the militia? you sign up and RIGHT FOR THE MOTHERLAND and die, and does it make living in high sec hard? i dont see the point in it.
note i have not played in 7 months so i dunno.

Large informal alliance of npc corp and player corps who have chosen to fight for their particular faction.
Doing work for the militia you are in doesnt make hisec any less easy to live in than it was - you just need to pay more attention to local. Unless of course you fight for Amarr/Caldari and live in the Gall/Minnie hisec - then their navies will come after you and War Targets can get you there (as they can in your own space).

Well spider tanking seems to be showing up from time to time, those things could be dangerous for high-sec. But mostly it only gives you more open targets in low-sec where the wars are. Not much difference in it then a normal war declaration, except then that you somehow more safe in your own militia high-sec.

I haven't seen any enemies in Gallente high sec since I started FW, but then my enemies are the Caldari and the Amarr, so I'm lucky to see them in their own highsec.

Some people in the Caldari militia channel will double your ISK if you send it to them.
