Earth, great place would visit again.

I really enjoyed London and the surrounding countryside. The lack of a shopping plaza every 100 feet was a big plus. Paris was okay, the people were quite friendly, but the weather was a little sour. Probably put a hamper on it.
I'm more of a home body so give me a decently sized house NOT in suburbia or in the middle of nowhere and I'll be happy.

Try Granada in Southern Spain - you can ski there in winter and the beach is close by as well.
The problem with skiing there though, is that the daytime heat makes the snow turn into watery mush very quickly, which later turns into ice with the nighttime cold. So you only have a short sweet spot for snow quality during mid-day: earlier than that it's too hard, and later it's too soft.

Glencoe in Scotland and Vedra off the coast of Ibiza (Doesn't look that impressive from the pic, but when I saw it there was a bit of fog and it looked like a mountain rising out of the sea. Also the road up there is very small and windy, so you turn a corner and suddenly see it and it's like..."wow")

I'm an east coast girl, but I fell absolutely in love with California when I was there. I actually started crying at the beauty of the San Joaquim Valley when the plane was making it's descent.
Although Finland is still the most beautiful and untouched wilderness in the world

Urban: London. It is the vibrant hub and capital of the UK and I absolutely love the London atmosphere. Just being immersed in it now and again is enough to draw me to study in a London Uni. Sitting on the lawn in front of the National Gallery at about 5 o'clock on a lazy summer's day watching the hustle and bustle and majesty of Trafalgar Square = epic.
Wild: Couple of places:
- West/South-west of Ireland: being quarter-Irish and proud of my connections I love visiting the stunning scenery and wilderness of counties Limerick, Clare, Kerry and Cork. So peaceful and beautiful
- Dungeness: while I like the whole of my native county Kent, Dungeness is a very special place to me. It's so incredibly wild, the views over the English Channel, the White Cliffs and the softly humming nuclear powerplant in the background . The majesty and beauty of the place make it my ideal place to go and relax.

I have traveled quite a bit and my favorite place is Sydney, Australia (duh) because of the great people (goes for Australia in general from what I have seen, which is the East coast, but I'm going back to visit the West coast in 2 weeks, yay!) and but also Yosmite Park and San Francisco in the U.S were cool.
A little closer to home, love the alps my favorite resort being La Plane in France, Paris didn't do it for me though.
Favorite domestic (U.K)location is Cornwall.

Obviously the best place to have ever been totally depends on your mood as well as your company.
But i'd say.... walking around underneath the volcano on Tenerife in the desert type desolate landscape, so alien.

The Isle of Mann, been there twice, during the TT bike race and just for a normal holiday, both times blessed with good weather.

Yosemite national park, it makes you realise how big America is and how beautiful the world is, you can drive across Yosemite in about the same time as you can drive across the UK which kinda puts the size into perspective and helps understand why americans sometimes dont get environmental destruction as a huge issue. Single most awesome place I've ever been

Historical trip
Solomon Islands - Guaducanal, Choisel, Shortland island etc The Jungles are littered with history, tho hard grunt over 6 or so months. Well worth every minute.
Beauty and relaxation
Vanuatu - The beaches are awesome
Action
Can go past Bangkok Thailand. Plenty to see and do all the way from the southern boarders to the North.
Girls
Right here in good old Australia. We fit most of your countrys into one of our post codes. From an Aussie point of view, avoid Sydney. Some nice spots but mostly just another grey boring hole of concrete.

I actually meant the scale of Yosemite was epic, red woods + half dome etc.. Theres not alot epic about the UK, but was just pointing out that it wasn't that small, not sure about width though so he might be right there.

Of all the places I've been to, I had the most fun by far somewhere in Mexico and Jamaica while on a Linux Lunacy Cruise. Stunningly beautiful spots and excellent company, can't beat that.
I'd move somewhere in the Caribbean tomorrow if it wasn't for the hurricanes and excessive humidity. Someday, I'll find the perfect island somewhere else, though.

stockholm, sweden - beutiful city
dalarna, sweden - dalarna is a "region/state", really represents "sweden"
loch ness, scotland and all of the surrounding towns/villages with pubs that play live folkmusic, nice sunny day looking at ancient catles looking over lochness's water/mountains is a very rare sight.
lots of places I'd like to go tbh, everythings diffrent in some way.

Best answer my own question I suppose :)
Hard for me to say to be honest.
Havent really got a single place I like enough to single it out, however I do like Cambodia enough to go at least once a year (usually in combination with Thailand and Laos) - even now its opened up to the west and tourism and so on, its got this wild feeling to it, this Old West style in some regards, all coupled with a turbulent recent history and some of the most amazing ruins which offer a glimpse into a culture far removed from my own and its history :)
One thing that does surprise me when thinking about this topic, how much I enjoy spending any amount of time in the Snowdonia National Park in Wales, which for me is an oddity as I find I usually dislike being places that are close to home.

Been to Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica, England, Poland, and Switzerland.
I'd have to say that Costa Rica is my favorite followed by Switzerland. Although each place was amazing.
Hopefully I can start traveling again soon.

I'm Costa Rican, so the local tourism is pretty amazing - I went to the Alaskan Inner Pasage recently, which was beautiful. I haven't traveled all that much.

London and a small village north of Cobh County Cork in Ireland.
I loved London for its life, and County Cork for its bucolic quietude. I am an American who spent many years living in England, and every Easter me and my friends would go to Ireland, county Cork, and would spend a month or more in this huge house built in 1800's. Best times of my life.

Santa cruz in bolivia over near the borders with Uraguay/Paraguay for Carnival weekend back in the early 1990's. Boy do they know how to party there. Having moved from London two years ago after living there 20 years, it comes in a close second.

FAvourite place to be has to be 't Montferland. Forrest near where I grew up in the Netherlands. Ain't no place like home.
Kinda liked the scenery on La Palma ( one of the Canary Islands) as well. Looking down into a mile deep hole in the mountain, scary.
