my fans were disappointed by me not making a thread yet so here goes !
This system is about 3 jumps from IAC's capital with IAC stations in two adjacent systems (KDF and F4R)
AAA put up a small POS to stage from a short time ago and IAC immediately reinforced it, after that it escalated a bit with 130+ AAA showing up and like 100 IAC including a few carriers they could bridge into the (still) cynojammed system, 3 carriers down so far, and I dunno what's going on right now ;O
Anyone know if AAA's engaged the jammer yet?
's actually a bit past their bedtime, so I dunno if they'd want to bother with capitals now

long story short, AAA put up a tower and had a hac gang running around. We slaughtered their hac gang and then reinforced their POS with a coduple minutes of shooting the crap out of it. AAA decided to come back with a big battleship fleet and found that the jump bridge POS wasn't shooting at them so start ganking people on it. CCP's petition queue is probably going to become quite long as the POS was bugged (corp standings set properly, POS setup to shoot hostiles, POS not obeying orders, etc.) They decided to come keep us occupied so UNL could destroy the vanguard POS in gm-. It's rather amusing how many times UNL and AAA+pets temp nap each other in a week to take on IAC+friends and then reset each other again.
Battle probably would've turned out quite differently if the POS did as it was told :/

I get amazed day by day by this marvelous game called "EvE". You have everything in it, spaceships, exotic dancers, alcohol, drugs, lag, desynch, bugged POS-es, bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs, another bugs... and so on.

Once again another back-and-forth battle with -A-.
First round: HAC fleet vs Sniper BS fleet. (BS fleet wins for the most part)
Second round:Drunken warriors vs Small -A- pos (a few people fall down, pos is in RF)
Third round: Barely standing drunken BS fleet vs -A- Sniper fleet (-A- kills more, IAC holds system/jammer)
2:1 Kill ratio for -A- like always. They killed more, our kills were nicer for the most part. Three IAC carriers down, 2 desynch. (1 guy saw himself in mb- still being shot at? whoops)
More fun to follow I'm sure, but a massacre like some would lead you to believe.

its possible that the iAc war is the most fun in the game currently.
if its only the two of them going at it then the lag cant be as bad as whole coalitions of alliances going at it.

It was a bit more than just -A- vs. IAC, but overall, fairly modest compared to some of the 500 ship black holes of lag that I've heard about. Local peaked around 250 at the height of the fighting, resulting in the worst lag on round three at the jump bridge POS, complete with two minute module lag and 10 kilometer desynchronization.
I was present for two of the carrier losses, and I don't think they're anything that particularly looks bad on IAC, just the nature of the game
1) Lost when reinforcing the capital fleet. Two carriers jumped in via the jump bridge just as -A-'s fleet warped in for a go at it. Concentrated fire from the battleship fleet took it down before the rest of the carriers could breach the POS shield.
2) Lost to -A-'s fleet at the height of the fighting when the rest of us were suffering massive module lag. It took our reppers almost two minutes to activate, by which time, -A-'s battleships were able to rip it apart. At this point of the battle, several of us were primaried, including myself, but we slugged it out, and managed to slip in and out of the shield to safety, despite -A-'s pilots trying to bump us out (better luck next time, Pthor  ).
You can make a big deal out of the capital losses if you want, but the k/d ratio was irrelevent. Keeping -A-'s capitals out of ZXIC was all we were worried about. If that means a few of us lose capitals, so be it. Carriers are a helluva lot easier to replace than the network of POSes that keep IAC space secure.
In the event of an emergency, my ego may be used as a floatation device.

Well the way I see it the more battlereports and details posted about ongoing conflicts and politics the better, often nobody bothers making a thread and nothing gets posted, or some alt creates a one line thread that gets locked immediately..
I'm still interested in the conflicts and politics of the area even if I'm no longer involved as such
's too bad calmdown killed gbbs by saying it'd be closed, now CAOD's pretty much only source of infos on what's going on for us spectators

Why is it so dificult to spell us correctly as Tercios? Not Tercious, not Terricos or some other weird mix I have seen. I know we are not that huge but we surely try to give you guys a run for your money.
Vanguard (ex-DMC) can certainly not believe they will outlast much the massive fleet presence of their pet masters of IAC, being sandwiched and all between GBC and -A-. Things might warm up a few degrees in the next future
Anyhow, lots of pew pew and destruction to be had in FAT-25S these days. A healthy GF! for everyone involved since we must say we are having a blast at this. See you on the front.

Vanguard aren't our pets, we can control pets. We (IAC) can't control Vanguard. So Vanguard aren't pets.
Besides, having pets is too much of a hassle since you can't depend on them to be there when the going gets rough. Better to have allies instead.

Vanguard has balls, and skills. Dark is a hella competent leader. I believe they will hold their own there. They also have had a pretty big hand in helping IAC vs -A-, so even if things heat up IAC and the rest of the crew should back them.
Either way, it wouldn't surprise me to see FURY in a few months with a large spot on that map ;)

Why is it so dificult to spell us correctly as Tercios? Not Tercious, not Terricos or some other weird mix I have seen.
So how's Terrciouss doing these days?
Actually, as said, having a blast too..which I guess is the reason of playing to begin with

lessee if i can remember the list of alliances that have held it in the past :O
