yes... i'm sure drones are an issue at 220km absolutely nothing is an issue there with >14 jam strength - putting the gist back into logistics |

so... what else do i have to fit on my scimitar...
- 10mn MWD/AB / your world only has a radius 75km in this ship - LSE or MSE / one just needs the buffer, right? - ballistic deflection field / against the "fine" caldari missles - invul / just to override the matari lack of HP - ladar ECCM / yay, heat - 38.2 ladar \o/
nope... still perma jammed by multispecs, both of us according to our killmails... from 190km - putting the gist back into logistics |

Originally by: Fifinella You did turn the ECCM on, didn't you?
why thank you
falloff works like any other; technically, first the falloff dice are thrown. upon success, stuff continues as usual. mathematically, you can throw those probabilities together.
heat effect stacks as if it were another distortion amp. assuming 3 amps, that's 5.66% more - take it or leave it :o
so, yes i'm well aware of all the maths involved... stacking is also the reason why one chooses the projector rigs over the augmentors. with racials and that rank 4 skill to IV, we're at 213km optimal for racial jammers - a scripted sensor booster takes you that far already, leaving room for 6 jammers (no tank required out there)
the proper falcon pilot doesn't just throw his jammers at one or two targets but manages them according to success rate. from here on you'll probably curse bernoulli for the rest of your life (same applies to ecm drones, although that can be simplyfied due to lack of micro-management -.-), but spreadsheets rule. if you haven't said byebye to mulitpecs by then, you are a true "*grunt* what do i care" caldari
and apart from the total safety that comes with >200km and a covert cloak, this management is its true power; no need to ativate another module on a jammed guy. no need to jam the primary etcetc
i know it's hard to quantifiy these things. much like re-locking
and to the guys actually suggesting remote ECCMs... have another look and/or try them: 25km, weaker than an overheated "local" mod and guess what... they don't help anybody if you're jammed -.- for example, the good ole' dual-guardian combo. if one is jammed, the whole "chain" collapses. more people can help out one guy? sure, if you want to micromanage your gang in the heat of battle, be my guest - abusing the "need cap" broadcast to ask for ECCM only goes so far. - putting the gist back into logistics |

you do know that suggesting remote ECCM removes all credibility of "experience" for the rest of the post, right? - putting the gist back into logistics |
