Ok so I am doing computer cleanup on my machine. I have two HDDs so I installed a new copy of Windows XP on one of the HDDs after I wiped it. My C:/ drive. All my old stuff is still sitting on my D:/ drive so I can go into the D:/ drive and find the same executable for EVE and run it. However, when I do the game has ALL DEFAULT settings. I tried copying the EVE folder that sits in the My Documents folder and all it seemed to copy is all the log files and screenshots.
My question is:
Where does EVE put its settings at? If it was in the EVE folder where the game actually resides then I should have all my settings when I launch the game from the folder I was using for my old Windows. But I don't. If I boot from my D:/ drive then all the settings are there.
CCP where did you hide the settings? I don't want to make all new bracket and overview settings etc. !

If it is anything like al ot of the games out, application settings folder, which is usually hidden in documents and settings.
Either or, you lost it, unlucky. ________________________ Lord WarATron:

All Users\Applications Data\CCP [your user]\Applications Data\CCP [your user]\My Documents\EVE
Those are the ones you need.

2000/XP C:\documents and settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\client_folder_location Vista C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\client_folder_location
You will find your settings folder in there.
