I savagly committed murder last night in a named 0.4 system and still I got no bounty on my head from the victim !
I was in my trusty and deadly MOA...
I destroyed one Kestrel but that pilot warped away.
I shot at a Tristan and fired one cruise missile and two torpedos but that pilot warped away with ship intact. I came upon this same Tristan again but managed to destroy it quickly and then I podded the pilot for making me having wasted some ammo beforehand.
My sec rating went to a nice -2.2 which means I get chased by Navy toads in 1.0 systems who don't bother to even fire on me. But still I got no bounty on my head ! I would have thought for sure my actions last night would be worth a million isk to someone but noooooo - lol.
I did managed to sell back some loot to the Tristan victim - this was quite amusing. Apparently she had some money to waste on a common-drop weapon but none for my bounty. Hey, I got alts who want to collect any bounties placed on my head. So how many more innocent pilots do I have to murder before I get to let my alts collect bounties for my action ?
Oh and there was one Blackbird pilot to cam out to chase me away but he failed to take the bait and follow me into an ambush I arranged... Not that I don't think I couldn't have destroyed his Blackbird from 55 km away since he wasn't even close enough to try to lock me down or anything... |

Well make it a big bounty will ya ! It'll cost me 1500 isk just to insure the shuttle I got to be flyin' when my alt collects the bounty... and then I got to buy the shuttle so that's another 10000 isk... So there's no point making the bounty any less than say 50000 isk although I think cold-blooded murder should be worth at least 1 mil isk myself - especially when the Corp that owns the pilot I capped has 72 members. Thx. |

Anyway, I have seen bounties as high as 5.2 mil isk on those with much lower sec ratings which means with a -2.2 sec rating I am a criminal in this game and therefore worthy of having a huge bounty on my head. I go about attacking and killing frigate pilots for no reason whatsoever other than the joy of scoring an easy kill; and I do this in Empire space albeit in low-sec space.
Anyway, my disappointment in not having a bounty remains and is only exceeded by the amusement in the way CCP managed to fail at thinking the bounty system through, I mean it's almost as if CCP designed in the fact that players "can" have alts without realizing there might be a benefit it someone with a bounty also having alts on more than one account who could be used to collect the bounty. I am LMAO over this one.
BTW - I don't need any doscount Shuttles - I got alts who can make shuttles for way less than 9000 isk each - I'm just too lazy to go pick one up or have one delivered so I buy them off the market. |

Maybe that's your problem. You attack frigate n00bs. They're naturally not going to dish out big bounties.

To be blatantly honest, and to say what I think the majority of people using the section of the boards are thinking:
The reason no one will place a bounty on your head, is more or less because you're too pathetic to really bother with it. Most people skim your posts (which we had been blissfully free from, lately...You been banned frmo the boards?), then chuckle, as you once again spew forth either fanciful tales of your own prowess (although I seem to recall it being stated a few times you didn't have the steel to back your words), or rants about this and that, having little interest to anyone.
ATM I'm waiting for EVE to load me into space, that's my explanation for taking the time to write this post. What's your excuse for having gone through your original thread?

Although, prior to re-joining EV I tried out being a pirate and, despite killing 4 or 5 battleships in and around the 0.4's in Heimatar, I never got a single isk on my bounty from any of the vic's.
People refuse to put bounties on people because it's so easy to pod yourself if you don't have implants.
Unfortunately for me, I have only been podded once so I have a full set of imps.
I don't want a large bounty anyway - in fleet battles it means you get wtf-targeted a lot.

I was a pirate for about a month, and has far as bounties go, you have to kill big expensive ships (or cargo...). I still have my (I think its 6mil) bounty from months ago from my so called "pirate days", and to tell you the truth I wasted many Battleships and everything in between to even get my first bounty. Just keep killing things and maybe you might get those little red letters concord never seems to forget about. But after your get you billboard screenshot thereÆs really no use for your bounty anymore, unless you want to take the time to collect it yourself of course... I personally never have because it always seems to start a conversation.

Well Jacque here's the deal. If you were afk in a pod in 0.0 space I wouldn't not pod you simply because I don't want to waste bullets on you. It's not that people hate you so much that they won't place bounty on your head it's the fact that noone has any respect for you.

I have lots of respects for ppl. choosing the hard way of life as a pirate or a bounty hunter but for a griefer ..... never.

Just read through this soap opera and realized something.
Jacque is probably going to get his bounty, because he has done what he set out to do with this thread:
1. Sound as arrogant as he possibly can
2. Anger as many people as he can, so as to maybe get some better action
I bet he gets plenty of fights now, just hope he realizes that he may have something tougher than a frigate to take down in the near future.
