This Thread is essentially a rant.
That said, if you have read it, you probably wont do what I am ranting about.
Each day in the forums there are umpteen new posts complaining about:
-Not being able to raise from neg security
-Getting ganked in empire and not being able to be 'escorted'
-Having Ore Stolen
-Frigs being able to mount Cruise missles making non-launcher frigs useless
-It being impossible to hit a frig with 2 (or even 1) MWD orbitting at close range round a BS
-Lasers being Crap
-Empire Strip Mining
-Cruisers being crappy
Etc Etc Etc.
Now if every person who started one of the above threads had instead just read the devblogs, CSMs and gone to dev meetings (or read the transcripts), then they would never have made the posts.
Every day there is a new slew of whines complaining about things that have had fixes already implemented on Chaos.
FFS before you waste more board space complaining about some aspect of the game mechanics, why not just read the devblogs and see if it has already been addressed or will be soon. 99/100 it will have been.
And while Im ranting, there have been several threads lately complaining that 'Chaos is too laggy/boring/restrictive, we cant fight properly'. Chaos is NOT a playground for people too stupid to get a BS ingame, it is to test new mechanics changes for balancing and bugs for the Developers.
Oh and another thing: People who go AFK for long periods on chaos (which has a user limit) should be summarily shot.
Ahhh now all that is out of the way, I feel much better

How about making a server just for the whiners, and maybe it would be a service where we could pay a nice sum of isk to deport whiners there so that we dont have to deal with them anymore.

you wake up,
have breakfast,
start ur comp,
play eve,
goto work,
play eve,
eat,
play eve,
watch tv,
sleep.... etc
if ya wanna take it to more details, you also brush your teeth every day, grab your car keys every day, press teh on button on your comp every day. etc.
when it comes downto things we humans are a rather boring race, we reflect that in our games...

OMG..
MAYBE WE ARE COMPLAINING BECAUSE CCP PROMISES THESE CHANGES (AS YOU SAID IN YOUR POST) BUT HAVE YET TO CHANGE ANYTHING? HAVE YOU CHECKED THE TIMESTAMP ON THOSE PROMISES?
I'll give a thumbs up to CCP for their supposed fixing of the games missles mechanics and balancing(lousy kestrels), but I have yet to see that promise take effect.
For example, in my months of 0.0 PVP experience, FA, CA, IMM, F-E, ect. I have yet to see more than 1 laser user. Why? BECUASE LASERS STILL SUCK.

OMG
MAYBE YOU DONT NEED TO START ANOTHER COMPLAINT THREAD ON THE SAME PAGE WITH 5 OTHER THREADS COMPLAINING ABOUT THE SAME THING WHEN THERE IS OBVIOUSLY ALREADY WORK BEING DONE ON THE ISSUES.
I think that's what lallante is getting at, despite how much I hate having to agree with her.
I mean really... who here has not yet learned to distrust time esitmates from the gaming community. I wish every developer in the world would stop using dates for anything, and just tell everyone "when its ready" the way they SHOULD from the beginning.

The whining and the other stuff will never go...unless you want just dev blogs ...Ie info when Devs wanna give it...

Yes whining about whining is ironic but so what.
I think the point is this.
Scenario: You turn on Eve and your corporate chat blinker goes off and you read this:
-Lasers suck
-Yeah
-Yup
-OMG do they suck!
-Yeah if they dont fix them I am quitting.
-Yeah we are all quiting this will show them.
[And you have seen people use lasers well yourself.]
Then a couple of minutes later you read another such series of posts about something else. And you keep doing this. If you can take this repeatedly month after month then I just wish I had your patience. LOL.

yet again some of you still fail to understand:
I have nothing against complaints per se.
I have a huge amount against complaints about things ALREADY FIXED on Chaos, or soon to be. All these things are massively doccumented in Devblogs, CSMs, and Meeting Minutes.
Case in point:

Quite apart from the fact that this person uses capitals for a whole paragraph thereby discrediting his arguement before I have even read it, If this player had spent as much time on Chaos, or reading the Chaos forums, or the devs posts on said forums, then he would know that of the list of 8 problems I used as examples, 7 are already at least partially fixed on chaos, and a fix for the last (Strip mining) is very much in the works.
Do you honestly think making another 100 threads on the problem will make them skip bug and balance testing and throw it on TQ right now? Are you not EXACTLY the same person who will turn around and critiscise CCP for releasing buggy code without due testing? thought so...
And Sylvania, where is the contradiction, I am not complaining about something the devs need to fix but already have planned to, Im suggestng violent action against those who irritate me. And Iceblock, I dont flame, I 'deconstruct with extreme prejudice'. (just like Im not camping, im using strategic stillness)

It's close to impossible for a BS to hit a frig orbiting at 50% it's default max speed already on TQ.
Just goes to show how well informed most of the people you mention are.
