Official Statement from Everlasting Vendetta
Background
In coming to the Vale of the Silent/Geminate regions of space, Everlasting Vendetta [EV] fought along side the RKK and Jericho Fraction corporations in order to push back pirate corporations and players from the region. In doing so, we were greatly impressed by RKK/JF pilots, ideals, leadership and skills; we became friends and eventually made the commitment to form a closer bond and call them allies.
Being allied with a corporation or alliance is no small deal for EV. We believe that if one is going to make such statements, then one needs to have the integrity to make hard choices based upon those statements and the bonds which forged them.
Announcement
Let it be understood that Everlasting Vendetta has no formal quarrel, disagreement or grievance with any NAST alliance or corporation. We wish only peaceful co-existence for the regions and with our neighbors to the west (NAST) and look forward to such a time that is a possibility. However, it seems that today is not that time.
Everlasting Vendetta will not allow our allies, RKK and Jericho Fraction to go to war in our own back yard while we sit idly by.
- As of server up Monday, May 30th, Everlasting Vendetta declares war on The Phoenix Alliance -
May we all die well.

Everlasting Vendetta has fought FAR tougher enemies than you WILL EVER meet, except possibly EV, as you will be fighting them. I think even the hated Omega Corp bares respect to them. In the time I got to know EV, they were by far some of the most respectable and intellent fighters I ever had the privilage to fight beside.

As always, EV has no intention of responding to or participating in forum flame fests. That is not our style and we feel it is a negative aspect of the game.
I will say that regardless of the smack I am beginning to see here, EV has always had respect for Rona-KIA and the Phoenix Alliance. Going to war with our neighbors is the last thing we wish to do, but we will hold true to our word and support allies we have laughed and beld with. Our post speaks for itself.
Best of luck to us all, but mostly let's all have some fun!

I applaud NÆFran DÆLarn, Everlasting Vendetta, and the courageous corporations of the Unicore confederation for this principled stand against the foulness and evil manipulations of the Phoenix Alliance.
It is truly a wondrous moment when faith is rewarded and bold hearts join the list of battle against the dying of the light. The Northern regions have long laboured under the durance of the criminal cartel that displaced the fine intentions of the NVA and closed space to all but the demands of their own pockets and greedy avarice thereout.
The true character of the tragically inappropriately named Phoenix Alliance has become apparent in these last few days, when failing to discipline a rogue member corporation so promised, the PA have chosen instead to lie and cheat and smear and wheedle and whine and spit imprecations like the foulest of criminals.
The Phoenix Alliance is a plague of the spirit, which takes honourable and worthy men and twists them to bitter wastrels of wounded eyes and bankrupt morality. But how else could it be but that a court of traitors should evolve to base and disgusting means?
These captains and CEOÆs of the PA betrayed their oaths of membership and founding of the once proud NVA and pushed knives into the backs of comrades and friends who strove with them in the darkest times.
This is an alliance of petty sneak thieves and cut-throats, peddlers in lies and far delusion, unfit for the company of honest men or the bright tapestry of stars about them.
Doomed from interception by the treason-red hands of its founders, the Phoenix Alliance has been challenged with the task of disproving its nature and correcting its ways and honest men have been more than patient.
But every day sees another promise broken, another deadline passed, more insults, more smack-talk spoken, more lies told and more futile boasting.
So the free corporations and alliances of the north have had enough.

I'm glad the CEO's of the corporations involved decided to cut through the red-tape and instead took the initiative.
PA have a history of being sneaky, underhanded and low. They would've done something to trigger a war eventually so this was always going to happen.
Here's hoping we don't suffer from the PA Blobs of Boredom.
It'll be nice to fight alongside, Jericho, RKK, and Evolution (even though Evolution never ever share out the cake).

It is because your alliance cannot keep its word SlightyMad. The proof of this all over this forum in the words of your own people. Your leaders have admitted it on teamspeak. Everyone knows that CDI broke the ceasefire and PA council is too cowardly to eject them as was promised as the cost for averting the previous war.

If we backstabbed you why was it that when we where discussing the change before it happened you stated clearly Jericho's intentions never to help protect venal or the NVA members. You clearly stated you where not interested in being part of the alliance while you where in it, so therefore it was a just cause to loose those corps not dedicated in helping there so called friends. Who backstabbed who eh...

PA has never tried anything but to negotiate and try to get order in the Northern region. Even try to help keeping the space open for public in regions.
If CDI broke any "rules" then PA would deal with them. As before. If you hadn't been the self-rigtheous warmongers you are, they would get the boot if it was a serious enough offence.
You telling us what to do. And starting a fullscale war. And hootering on the forum about the evilness of PA is just a big laughable thing. Thats absolutely the surest way of having CDI stay in PA. Which you knew of course. You knew that the surest way to get into a general brawl was doing just what you did now.

Sir you are somewhat of course with this post. there is much history to this current situation, but peace was made on the promise by PA that certain corps would not take certain actions in certain areas. the post are there and are clear, the current conflict was started by the breaking of these sanctions and the complete failure of PA to do anything about it. weather you have any personal feelings towards RKK, JF, EV or anyone else now ralling against the PA, that is a fact. Your alliance has failed to keep the peace, and its corruption and smack must be answered.

Imagine a man running along the road, chasing a bus that is indicating to pull out into the traffic some 30 yards away. He runs in an arms flailing wildly, change flying out of pockets trying to catch the bus. Suddenly the man stumbles creating an oasis in the crowd of people on the pavement, as he falls to the ground. In the distance the bus pulls away, the man defeated sits on the pavement and watchs the bus move off. Now imagine the man is you and the bus is the point of this thread. You much like the man have sadly missed it.
Before all these war declerations where was the protest made to the PA council? where was the oppurtunity to negotiate this and get CDI expelled or Rona to leave etc? Can't find it? Probably not because it didnt happen. This was made straight to war no thought of negotiation so whos in the wrong here after all? The corp that trys to negotiate peace or the one whom jumps straight to war without the chance of diplomacy?
You quote you will talk assuming its not smack which I think you will agree mine is not. So please explain this point to me? as the corps in question haven't wanted to talk they just want war.

So you really didn't notice the talks in teamspeak, the non-stop meeting between PA people and for example JF people, and all the threads on these very boards?
A LOT WAS DONE to try and resolve this, again and again and again. This was not the first time you were given a chance to rectify your mistakes but you have ran out of chances.
If you want to find these blindingly obvious topics which asked for peaceful solutions, just take a look at the other topics on this board, there is PLENTY there for you to read since you seem to have missed it all.

If an offical complaint had been made I am sure it would have been dealt with forwith.

NOTE! Your own Alliance was fully aware of this all, various CEO's and directors of corporations within your alliance have posted threads and been in talks with diplomats from RKK, JF and others for a long time.
Even if you, a common member in the PA I must assume, were not aware then it is your own corporations fault for not keeping you in touch with the events going around.
If your boss gets all the info, it's his fault if he doesn't get it to you. Also these boards are not just smacktalking even if it is here in abundance. There is a LOT of information here.
Simply saying "the boards are just smacktalk, post on our own private official boards of which every corporation and alliance has it's own..." is a very very poor excuse for not being up to date but heavily used none the less by several PA members.

You'll note that on page three of that first link I posted on the 26th asking for the names of pilots involved and making a suggestion as to the next steps. That was never answered, and the next thing we know (3 full days later) RKK is whacking a PA ship in neutral space and only THEN declaring war, and not even then mentionning their reasons in the initial war declaration post.

Actually the Phoenix Alliance boards are utterly dominated by pro PA flamers and disrespectful idiots. Having posted there I was insulted, derided and snarled at by a bunch of subnormal smacktards.
At least with these forums we have neutral moderators who limit the worst of the real life insults and appalling flaming.
Nobody in their right mind would want to use the Phoenix Alliance boards as a medium for discussion (unless they enjoyed being insulted and demeaned by a numpty circus of beavis and butthead style morons).
So, don't act all surprised about the fact that people prefer to respond to PA ceasefire promises on the public PA ceasefire promise thread.
These forums are part of the game of eve, they are part of the service we pay for. The PA forums the PA's personal playground where they make the rules.

No podding today actually, I got the pod away after getting sneak attacked by a previously undeclared PA Battleship (that was later destroyed by allies in theatre).
But really you chaps have to make your minds up ... either I never fight, never undock, or I do fight and am always in the thick of the fighting. I certainly seem to lose enough ships and use enough ammo.

Did I ever anywhere state I was not aware? was that even a question or point? I asked where was the offical complaint that would lead to a negogable/peaceful solution to this issue. I am aware that a lot of people have seen the threads on these boards ( I myself "a common member" have also read them. But again I ask where is the OFFICAL complaint as was directed on the topic at hand with names and dates etc to be made so that something could be done about it( page 3 I seem to remember).
I agree that people could just delete their boards and state we didn't see it etc. However on many announcements and posts the PA has stood firm on the ground for diplomacy and complaints please make a post on the boards so that it can be looked into. Even if that post is then attacked by others as the boards are public, and as it's public I am sure people would soon say if something was deleted. The Council still get to see the complaint and the proof as was requested as opposed to having to trawl through hundreds of smack talking posts to not even get the names of the offenders and dates etc from them.
So you see if there ever really was a peaceful intent then it was not followed through with heart, just a semi attempt at a quick resolution that was not followed up until the war decs came out. And now we are told that nothignn will resolve the issue bar wiping the PA from Venal so it looks to me very much like some people were just itching to fight the PA and they used this as the perfect excuse.
This of course is all just imho as are all my posts I speak not for PA nor CPDS.
