It seems that I'm suddenly unable to lock onto anything, and I can no longer activate my shield burster nor my afterburner. The pirates I have to kill in my mission are not attacking me either. Anyone have the same problem or know what can cause it?
Almost forgot, I have restarted Eve and restarted my PC - still can't get a lock

Might want to petition an GM Whilton.
But I've never heard of your issue, sorry. :(

heya whil,
Same thing has happened to me b4. I 'm not sure what can be done on your end about it though. Try restarting ur PC again bro. ALso be glad u didn't get fired upon by the npc's. This happen to me and i coudln't fire jump out or anything. I finally logged without any other choie.. and a 100 mil isk battle ship as slowy eaten away by 12k rats. U can put in a petition but i can garuntee u this. 1) ccp won't even bother with your petition 2) If they do it will have corrected itself b4 the bother answering 3) ccp don't care and they basicly will say "what u going to do quit?" So i know how frustratin this can be. However it should resolve itself soon.. if it don't then see if u can BOTHER ccp for a min out of thier day. good luck bro

Well GM's not able to help, seems I have to wait for downtime - that should hopefully solve my problem

Should most definitely do that.
This problem has something to do with the system. Or the node or something. Not sure. But most likely if you go to another system you will be able to do it all.
Sept pass your agent mission ofcourse.

Yep, I just tried to go to the neighbouring system, everything works there. When I go back to the mission system, it all gets screwed up again

I must be realy lucky everytime i have had to contact a GM they have alway resolved my issues promptly even in the other section.

hey,
that does seem funny that they respond they can;t help.. what can't they help?.. your ship won't lock or fire or anything lol. They can't do anything? not surprised. Maybe CCP can again look at what i petitioned about and see these two are related. lol what joke. then they say nothing can be done till down time nice... nice work. I guess u are the only person that has told me "every time i petition or contatc GM they fix me up" well thats either cuzz ur a GM and can do it yourself or all your problems are being stuck at a gate. I have had friends and other petition about thigns and almsot always they can't do a thing about it. This guy has to lose n agent mission n get bad standings...again nice... again bro just be thankfull you weren't at a decent spawn n they could shot you n scramble.. this same thign happen to me.. cept i lost a BS and that exact response was basicly given to me... what a joke
