Hi all,
I've been reading a lot about crowded mission hubs and the related problems. What I couldn't find is a list of those hubs, so I can avoid them when leveling up a corp to lvl4. Could someone please post a list of the most notorious hubs?
Thanks, Jin

Motsu/Aramachi Irjunen Dodixie/Auvergne Emolgranlan can get pretty crowded
I'm sure there's more, those are off the top of my head.

Motsu Umokka Rens Frarn Emolgranlan Gulfonodi <-- might have misspelled that one
Those are the ones I've seen. I've never been to Gallente or Amarr space so I don't know which ones are there.

Nothing comes close to constituting 'crowded' compared to Caldari space, but we have Oursalert, Cistuvaert, Alentene, etc all with 150+ in local as of today, about as busy as i have seen it lately; heaps of missions to ninja salvage :)

Don't run any missions out of Jita, either.
So:
Alentene Aramachi Auvergne Cistuvaert Dodixie Emolgranlan Frarn Gulfonodi Irjunen Jita Motsu Oursalert Penigramn Rens Umokka
Generally speaking, avoid running missions for any of the four main Navies or their Intelligence corporations if you want to avoid high population systems on reasonable quality L4 agents. Most people seem to gather about them (Aramachi is a high quality, high sec L4 agent for the Caldari Navy, for instance. Dodixie similarly has a high quality, high sec L4 agent for the Federation Navy.)

For some reason no-one has mentioned the hell of all hells, Saila. I know technically the agent is in Motsu but for some reason the lag in Saila was always far worse.

Level 4 combat agents in 0.5 systems with a high agent quality, Caldari space heavier number of mission runners than other races. It is not that hard to do the research and scope out the regions.

F10 -> star / color systems by -> statistics
faction/police ships killed in last 24h ; big blob = mission hub jumps in last 24h ; vivid color = crowded systems etc
you'll get the hang of it soon enough

Fat chance syphurous, local is now peaking around 100, and the whole area seems to have filled with macros and farmers

My issue with places becoming hubs is my 350 - 400 ms to the server. It means I lag to begin with, a system with its own lag quickly makes it a serious problem.
The agent quality system needs a rework, and the agents need to be shuffled around.
I dont think there should ever be more than 1 lvl4 agent in the same station, I dont mind hopping from station when agents give me bum missions I want to turn down. Most people will read this thinking it's part of my post, when its actually my sig :P

I refer you to the sticky at the top of this forum:
Originally by: GM Ytterbium Players are still completely free to salvage other pilot wrecks at will, no matter if they belong to the same corporation or not and doing so is not considered as an exploit.
I don't expect this to be an issue anytime soon. I regularly read the blogs, and the CSM forums, for any hint that some Carebear is looking to take away my rights.

Considering I've seen members "Yoink" active in all the mission hubs I mentioned in my prior post, I can't imagine you didn't already have this info -- especially as I'd heard of all these hubs less than 2 weeks after I started playing and I never was looking for info like it -- it's simply out here on the forums.
Granted, those threads were more along the lines of "where are the laggy mission hubs so I can avoid them" but the end result is the same. I think it's funny that it's only now that y'all are making a big deal about "Oh look! Places to go salvage!" when those other thread tended to also mention that becuz they're hubs that the number of people scanning out runners in order to salvage is higher.
Of course, I don't think you'd put together your corp yet then either. Maybe that's the difference ;)

The problem is I think, that the amount of agents and systems is still based on the number of subscribers from a few years back. We really need more good Lvl 4 quality to give people more options, so not everybody flocks to the very same systems.

Indeed. A year ago or so there was hardly anyone around Amarr in Domain doing missions. Now it's a crowded shopping Mall area :S

Edited by: Zeerover on 07/08/2008 13:54:52 Gekutami is fast becoming the new Motsu. With it's Hyasyoda Lvl4 Q18 combat agent, Ice fields and only 7 jumps to Jita. Lag there rose by quite a bit over the summer, so much so that I had to say goodbye to my 10.0 standing Agent.
Station rent went up from around 3 million isk several months back to ~11 mill in june to 23 mill in july.
Odd part is that there are mostly just 80-90 people in system, but if you go by the map you'll often see days with over 30000 npc ships destroyed in system.
