I am sure that about 2-3 years a go in eve, before i left the game for other games, that we had a indy type ship that could jump about 50-200km instead of flying all the time. Was bigger than the bestower i remember and looked bigger to not just in cargo bay size.
Maybe the skill set have changed, but does anyone else rember what ship i am on about. It didnt need a becon and it could be used in 0.9 sec at the time too...

Been here since the beginning, and I certainly can't remember that.
However, all ships can warp to friendly/neutral entities in space that are over 150km away.

That's gone right up my flag pole that has. I think your referring to the warp Jump drive thing.
When I started playing 3 years ago, I remember there bein a further mod to the AB and MWD. I never got around to fitting one and I think it's since been taken out of the game

Cheers, but i was sure the ship in question came with this ability built in and wasnt addon device, but i may be wrong on this point.
Also, while im here. Is there a ship good for moving cargo around that is inbetween an indy at 13K and a frieghter at 720K! as the gap seems a little large and even bigger in isks!
Wish i could remeber that ship we had that jumped 20-50km a go.

No, there isn't. Though with T2 expanders and T1 cargo rigs (which will probably come down in price as polycarbs and thus trit bars get less desirable and cheaper), an Itty V has a native cargo of 38.4k, which can be augmented by GSCs to just under 50k. Which is four times larger than the 13k figure you quoted, so might be good enough for what you're looking for...

Been around 4+ years and I'm pretty sure that you imagined that.
As to the OP: again, I dont think so. Are you sure you just didn't /warp/ to stuff? _______________________________________________ Mercenary Forces |

nahh, back when ravens used to have railgun bonus and double MWD used to exist, there was only a certian type of hauler. There was no "jump" thing. You just warp to the gate as you can warp on grid.
Ahh perhaps thats what you were thinking of, the ability to warp while on the same grid.
Iteron 5 was the only new one added which could carry "Tons", and you are probebly thinking of that. However, that was added due to some seriously funny story that I cannot remember though.

No i dont think it was a warp ship - not unless you could warp 50km?
I am sure we used it to pick up lots of ore from cans while mining, this was abotu 3 years ago, maybe 4 years a go. Sure all we did was poitn to were we wanted to go, hit the jump and it flew X km away..
Still, maybe i was drunk that night
The other cargo ship that takes 3 times my bestower sounds good, guess i need more books for it lol... cheers for the info guys.

You can warp 50 km. Be 150 km from something, and warp to it at 100. You will warp forward 50 km and stop.

Secure containers are magic cans. They hold more volume than the can itself.
GSC: size - 3,000m3, holds 3,900m3. So you put as many GSCs in your cargo hold as you can and then put in your rocks, mins, mods, ect. into them and gain 900m3 per can.
If your just hauling for a mining rock op I leave them at the station as the micromanagement is not worth it to me.
Also, notice this does not increase the total size of the cargo hold so things like ships and cubes of ice (1,000m3) the cantainers don't help. With ice a GSC will only hold 3 cubes, so the other 900m3 goes to waste.
