As far as I understand it, a Titan is able to generate it's own Jump Portal in a nearby system without the need for a cyno beacon.
If this is the case, is it possible to jump a Titan from up in Tenal or some place across to Jove space? Is the shortest distance short enough? Has anyone made any measurements on this or tried it?

No. Titans need a cyno to create the jump portal to, and since nobody can get there to light a cyno, not gonna work.

now this might not work, but some people a long time ago made it to jove space according the maps. but since not gates were used, it never loaded the system. if they made it back, and lit the cyno, and assuming the jump was short enough, could a capital jump to it...in jove space, and get the system to load? if so, and got a titan in, you should be able to jump more people in :P
who knows, i don't have the time for such endeavors.

Ok the OP misunderstands how titans create a jump portal but was explained by Arous Drephius.

Oh god where to start, ok you are thinking of the time someone (or two people) spent hours making deep safes until the map showed them in Jove space but because thats not a way to get to other systems only the map showed them in Jove space.
Going back several years there used to be a way to set your death clone to Jove space and then pod yourself to a Jove station but because the space isn't meant to be visited nor used in a meaningful way its almost completely empty of anything remotely interesting.
Hope that clears things up.

Jove 0.0 space would be ISK without risk, wouldn't it? If you found a way that is. And if you find a way, don't tell a living soul. Nor a dead one for that matter.

ore and rats --> unlikely, as the space has never been set up. Also no market to sell or buy anything (as long as some half forgotten dev didn't setup the jove station to sell Tech V items...)
So any money surely not - only some fame for the "been there" status.

i konw, i was thinking it was possible like that as well, lmao, i was running locater agents on an ISD member in the polaris system for shits and giggles, and found they were in Polaris, and set destination, it set destination, but didnt give me a route when i undocked, and then when i tried to reset destination and it tells me "cant set a destination to the same location twice" so i figure, ok, ill autopilot, and the ship doesnt move
im thinking to myself is it possible to get into that system, and i think of Cyno fields, then forget a ship needs to be IN the target system in the first place to light a flare

Sounds like it's all been tried then. So your only options are to have a friendly Jovian who you can gang and have light a cyno for you. Or high enough standings with a Jovian corp so you can jump to any POS cynos they might have, or membership of a Jovian corp so you can set up a death clone in their space.
Only Jove corp I know of is School of Subconscious Thought. Building standings with them takes ages as they have no agents. And seemingly there is no benefit as yet.

Its where the Jovians are frome.
The Jovians were the original cool story line of EVE. CCP seems to have decided to ignore them.
