Industrial Operations, mining operations by factions in asteroid belts
This feature will be in the new patch. Meaning that there will be Factions doing mining operation in asteriod belts. So I got excited and was hoping that this will also happen in .4 and lower space, so I can go attack em when im bored n **** =) ---

You can attack convoys/security ships/combat drones belonging to any non-player faction without CONCORD interferance.. so i doubt they'll care about these either.
For instance, you can farm Minmatar Republic Security Commanders (Typhoons) in Pator all day without any concord showing up.

Taking bets on how long it is before Tank and Co. start moaning about the escorts and/or the Mining operations warping away.

----------------------------------------- [2003.12.17 06:35:20] Corwin > Orvolle is .4? Doesn't that mean that it's less than .5 ? and isn't .5 what starts the danger level? [2003.12.30 07:15:50] Corwin > Tech 2, IE expanded cargo holds I, MIning lasers 2, etc.... TL2 is being released all around you [2003.12.30 07:21:20] Corwin > tech 2 is released to players. Some players are busy researching the BPs before building stuff. Others are sitting on the BPs making copies to make money off of them that way |

These NPC ops sound like they will be more rare than random.
They will most likely end up being at planets, not belts. Where you will most likely have to take a number and wait in line to gank them.

Yeah this looks lovely, more PvE around when you need it if ever. (Ganking guristas mining ships guarded by some harder battleships... woot might even compare to PvP even though you're doing it for the isk )

I think they'll be quite a common sight, only that the loot will be pretty crap so it won't really be worth the hassle.Just like those NPC faction typhoons i mentioned.Fun to kill, but the drops are hardly worth it.
