Hey all,
I wanted to take a moment to say a quick goodbye. I have enjoyed my time in MD and EVE - however EVE had become an all consuming idol in my life, and fortunately, I have cast it down.
I wish the best to all of you.
Fly safe and may God richly bless you all.

That's too bad. I've just been lurking here, but it looked like you were getting name recognition as an auditor to be trusted.
But I certainly understand - this game is a time sink! GL.

Best of luck in your future endeavors, and never say never; there may come a day when you'll come back to EVE.
Take care.

I post very rarely in MD but like the small community that it represents within the forums. Any other part of the forum would have got the response "can I have your stuff" in post #1.
Best of luck in all you pursue. ----------------------

tre - I appreciate your post :)
Before I made my post I liquidated all assets but 0.01 ISK - I was waiting for a 'kan I hav ur stuvvs?' post - to which I would have sent my last EVEly possession.

Kan I hav ur stuvvs?
*laughs*
Not seriously. I prefer to make it on my own, or fail trying. But hey, it had to be said, doubly so after your post.
It was nice to meet you ser. I'm sorry you didn't get your auditing business up and running better. I was quite pleased to see another person entering the auditing business, and if I decided to float some bonds or get an IPO I was planning on asking you AND another auditor to both audit my offering. (since it would help you rep)

I would suggest leaving those in Ebank you never know when you'll find the time to check on the game again.

Sorry to see ya go, bud.. We had quite a few good discussions, and I certainly learned a good amount of new things, too.
Good luck to you.. We'll chat/email, I'm sure. :)

Definitely dump your ISK into a bank account if you haven't already given it away. The last time I "quit" I gave everything away and even though it's been 6 months I still haven't recovered. If you can afford it pick up some GTCs and keep training while you're gone.
Good luck in the real world! ---------------------------- Beep boop I'm a robot |

Why pick up GTC to do training? Why not just pick a long skill and it'll continue to train, even if the account is disabled.

Even the longest skills aren't very long. Carrier V, Dreadnought V, etc are only 2-2.5 months usually. Even Titan V wouldn't be that long.

Why not both? I should have been more detailed in my first post:
1) Buy a GTC 2) When the sub is about to expire start a long skill 3) When the skill completes reactivate the account and keep training. 4) Repeat until out of ISK.
This way he could easily have another 6 months of training to return to (if he ever does return) instead of the ISK burning a whole in his pocket or gaining 1.5% interest per month. You can always make more ISK but you can't make up for missed training

I would be glad to help you. You only have to give me your stuff to try some market manipulations. I promise you that you will never see a single ISK of your investment again. So there is no reason to log in again.
