I've had a hard time finding where to access/buy the 'Original Drake Blueprint'.
My first idea was Caldari Navy, but after searching I couldn't find it. I haven't been in-game(Caldari Navy LP Store), but I have searched the web thoroughly. Is it accessible somewhere else?
Does anyone know anything about this? Just a few pointers would help alot.
Just a little question from an EVE gamer.

Alright, my next question is. Where does these people get the blueprint from?
Im not quite ready to invest 300-400mil in a blueprint if I can get it by gaining it elsewise.
I figured it was LP bought. As my first post pretty much only talks about that. |

All tech 1 BPO can be purchased from NPC.
Example: Drake: See bottom of page = Caldari Navy, base price 342 million. You will find it for more, but not for less (unless a player is trying to dispose of it at a loss).

Look for NPC orders, which are always 364 days or longer (they are reset to 365 days every downtime), as players can only make orders of max 90 days.
Of course you could build from copies, which are a lot cheaper, and can be found in contracts. |

For future reference this is a good tool. Among many other things it has a category for each BPO that tells you which factions sell them in their stations.

fair warning, building from purchased BPCs is rarely profitable. Usually you are better off selling your minerals and just buying the ship. |

Correct, even more true with Tech2 ships. |

Why do you say this? I have built many T1 ships (dessys, cruisers, and bcs) that ave made money.
You just have to factor in the cost of the BPC.
Remember the cost of the BPC is the total cost divided by the number of total runs available. Lt. Colonel of The Caldari State
