I'm currently having a problem on my MacBook Pro while running two clients simultaneouslyùdifferent accounts. Whichever one I log in on last has full control of the mouse/cursor, but on the first one I logged in on loses the ability to click on things. The EVE pointer cursor is thereùit's just unresponsive and won't click on anything in the interface. Meanwhile, I can happily navigate through windows, the market, etc. on the client I login on last.
Anyone else had this problem? I simply duplicated the client I had on my harddrive and logged in with it on the second account. Is there something I should be doing differently?
(it seems that the unresponsive cursor still clicks on things, but it's receiving its instructions on the other client. So, if I click on my wallet on the second client (the responsive one), the wallet opens in both clientsùeven though I wasn't able to click directly on the wallet, much less on anything else, in the other, unresponsive client)
Any thoughts/issues/suggestions?

Tried again with a freshly downloaded/installed client. Still the same problem. Just for those who would be interested or might have suggested it.

Linux user had the same problem. Will try his fix in the quest to answer my own question.

I had the same problem after the most recent patch. I thought maybe it was a bug so I sent a bug report and was told that it is actually not a bug, and that "CCP does not officially support the running of multiple clients on the same machine simultaneously" |

Did you change the preference directory name on the second client as explained in the sticky?

No I didn't, so that's probably my problem. I've since found that I don't need multiple clients for what I want to do, but thank you for this info, as it will be helpful in the future.

Common mistake, I often forget to make sure that prefs are separated for each client.
