scaned every planet for the radar site using quests still not showing up .. is this cuz my skills arnt great (wich i dont have amazing probe skills) or is it just not my luck
also
radar = hacking
unkown = combat
mag = ??
grav = hidden belts?? dont really know all correct me if im wrong pls : ) i know exploration can be very profitable

I've had a fair few sites that just don't seem to come up no matter how many times I scan...

Assuming you are doing it wrong:
You need to use multispectral probes to figure out if any of the mentioned ones are existant in that system.
Check out the guides on how to continue.

I wasn't doing it wrong, and that same sig was in that system for about a week so I assume nobody there could find it.
Maybe some just spawns themselves in safespots lol

Some sites can just be tough to locate and often require you to scan more than once at each planet.
I have the scanning strength skill at level 4 and still see issues in some places.

Radar = Hacking

Indeed, exploration can be very profitable.. If you have the patience for it. Some sites turn up on the first scan with quest probes, other ones can be much more difficult to find. The trick is to get all the planets covered, wich can be a pain and you have to use bookmarks and drop probes at safespots. It is usually the planets near the sun that is hard to get coverage on, since they are close to eachother and you can not drop a probe within the same radius of another probe.
Edit: I just realised who you are :) You'll have to get out of the Abaddon and into a covert ops asap :D
I do not know what skills you have, but if you're into exploration you will need lvl 4 in all exploration related skills as soon as possible, you will also want a covert ops ship with 2x "Gravity Capacitor Upgrade I" rigs to reduce your scan time. All this takes time to train, but it's well worth it.

I just spent 3 hours probing down a site.
I have covert ops V, sig analysis V and all others to IV plus using implant.
Turns out the site just didnt want to be found. Base 4 arc/salv.
(The loot turned out to be junk). Sometimes it just takes patience.
